Ok, first things first, your ganna need a megaphone, lucky for you, I have one

Chrissy stood outside the cafeteria doing her best not to hyperventilate, lunch hour was in full swing and from where she stood, she had a clear view of Tom sitting with his friends. She adjusted her grip on the megaphone, Jen's instructions running around in her head.

Next, I'll have to write some clever lyrics

Chrissy glanced at her phone, the 'clever' lyrics staring back at her. "This is such a bad idea," she breathed, feeling lightheaded, "I should just tell him the truth!"

"Now or never!" an announcement over the loudspeakers made Chrissy flinch, "Spring fling is this Friday, get your tickets today!"

Taking a shaky breath, Chrissy entered the cafeteria, the noise assaulting her. She raised the megaphone to her lips, eyes fixed on Tom.

"What is that for!?" Tracy asked in bewilderment.

Chrissy jumped, nearly dropping the megaphone. Tracy stood beside her, the overhead lights reflecting brightly in her glasses.

"I'll explain later." Chrissy spoke breathlessly.

Tracy eyed the megaphone dubiously, "Ok. Anyway, I started editing our video- It'll for sure be done for Monday."

"Uh huh." Chrissy agreed absentmindedly, her eyes scanning the crowd. Tom was no longer in his seat. Frantically searching, Chrissy found him on his way out a second pair of doors.

"TOM!" She hollered, adrenaline flooding her body while Tracy flinched and stared with wide eyes.

Tom looked over his shoulder and stopped when he saw her.

"IF YOU LIKE JAMMING OUT TO ROCK MUSIC!" Chrissy's singing through the megaphone was shaky, and the surrounding teens turned to her with quizzical frowns.

"And drinking Mountain Dew. If your secretly into Rom Coms and like sleeping past noon."

The cafeteria had gone silent, phones were recording, and Tracy backed away. Chrissy knew her face must be bright red, and she was finding it difficult to carry the notes of the rewritten Pina Colada song. Across the room Tom's mouth was hanging open while his friends grinned ear to ear and pushed him forward.

"If you don't mind being taller, by a foot and a half. If you're not into redheads, if you like my green eyes."

Urged by his friends and trying to hide a shy smile, Tom began to close the distance between them.

"Will you beeeeeeee my spring fling?" Chrissy ended abruptly, her breath failing her.

"What are you doing?" Tom asked, his voice nearly drowned out by the ruckus cheering and laughter.

Chrissy did her best to channel Jen, "You wanna go to spring fling with me?"

"Your crazy you know that? Of course I'll go with you!" he stepped closer his eyes dropping to her lips.

"Great! See you later!" Chrissy exclaimed grabbing Tracy's hand and running as fast as she could from the room.

"What on earth!" Tracy complained as Chrissy pulled her along, "I can't believe you just did that!"

Chrissy stopped to catch her breath, a smile splitting her face, "I think I'm getting good at this kind of thing!"

"What?"

"I'll explain later, I promise!" Chrissy linked arms with her friend and strolled down the hall, still feeling lightheaded.

Just be quieter, I'm sure what's confusing Hudson is the fact that you talk so much

Jen had promised herself to do her best at acting like Chrissy for the week, the class she shared with Hudson on Monday had gone quite well, she hadn't seen him at all Tuesday.

"It's make my doppelganger prude time!" she whispered to herself as she prepared at her locker for Wednesday's shared class with the target in question.

Only like 20% of what I think about actually comes out of my mouth

For claiming to be quiet, Chrissy had done a lot of talking when they had planned out the week. When she was done psyching herself up, Jen closed her locker and low and behold who should be coming down the hall, nearly two feet taller than everyone else?

Remembering Chrissy's instructions, Jen refrained from calling out and only raised a timid wave. Hudson's face lit up in a charming smile. "I mean I guess he's attractive." She muttered to herself.

"Who?" a strangely familiar voice asked.

Jen turned and blinked in surprise to find PJ. "What are you doing here!?" Jen shrieked and flung her arms around the girl.

"I go here." PJ offered, "I thought I had seen you around before."

"This is so cool!"

"Hey." Hudson's voice sounded from behind and PJ's eyes traveled upward over Jen's shoulder.

Jen turned slowly, and bit her lip like she had practiced, "Hey!"

"What's up?" PJ greeted.

"I actually walked through a spider web around the hall, believe it or not." Hudson said with an easy smile, "I'm Hudson."

"PJ." The girl spread her hands in a shrug, her pajama bottom's drawing Hudson's gaze. "We met at her boyfri-"

Jen gasped dramatically, becoming aware of the hazardous situation, her gasp turned into coughing and sputtering.

"You ok?" Hudson asked while PJ raised a brow.

"I think I swallowed a bug!" Jen rasped and grabbed hold of the front of Hudson's shirt, "I'll see you in class." Turning away Jen made a beeline for the bathrooms.

PJ followed, "Are you double dipping?"

"What!?"

"You didn't what him to know you have a boyfriend."

Jen forced a laugh, "What are you talking about!?"

PJ shrugged, "You do you, man. None of my business who you cheat on."

Throwing her arm over the girl's shoulders Jen smiled, "You got this all wrong! Trust me, I would not cheat on Tom for someone like that!"

PJ shrugged again, "If you say so. See you later."

Jen watched her go, "This is getting chaotic, even for me." she muttered before skipping the bathroom and heading for class.

I would love to hear what you think. The next four episodes will be the finale!
