2) Breaking The Silence

Leo's POV

I could tell Maya was super nervous to set foot into the Raven's clubhouse as she was about to see her sister for the first time in like 11 years. I turned to her and put a hand on her shoulder. 

Leo: "Hey, don't be nervous trust me everything is going to be fine"

I unlock the door and lead Maya into the clubhouse

Leo: "Hey, could I have everyone's attention for a couple minutes please"

I see Hayley's eyes light up as she headed in our direction

Hayley: "Maya? Is that really you? Oh my god!!! I need to get Alex in here, it's so good to see you" 

Hayley looks over to me for a kind of approval to allow Alex in here, as we have a rule that no Eagle's are allowed in the clubhouse and the Raven's aren't allowed in theirs. I gave her my nod of approval as she ran off to get Alex.

Hayley's POV

I never thought in a million years I'd see Maya walk through that door, I just wish mom didn't give her up as we're so close in age I think we would've got on like a house on fire. But that doesn't matter as she's here now, so we can make up for lost time. I ran towards the Eagle's clubhouse and knocked on their door.

Hayley: "Hey Brooke, is Alex there? I really need to speak to him.

Brooke: "Um? Why would you want MY boyfriend?"

Hayley: "Ugh, Brooke for fuck's sake just tell MY brother I'm here, it important."

Brooke: "FINE!"

Brooke closed the door to go and get Alex.

Alex: "Hey Hayley, is something wrong? Are you okay? Do you need me to phone Dad?

Hayley: "Alex! Calm down, everything is fine. In fact everything is amazing. Follow me, Leo gave you permission to come into the Raven's clubhouse for a bit, you're gonna love this!"

I drag Alex back to the Raven's and unlock the door with my Louie

Maya POV

Maya: "ALEX!!!!!"

Alex looked at me in confusion

Alex: "Wait, Maya? Is that really you? I can't believe it, you're really back?"

He gave me the biggest hug, I think this is the longest hug I've ever had!

Maya: "it's really me Alex Woods, I can't believe I'm finally back with you. Though I don't think mom and dad would be best pleased to see me when they come to visit you?"

Alex looked at Hayley and then Hayley looked at Alex kind of upset

Maya: "What? What is it? Was it something I said?

Alex: "You might wanna sit down for this"

I look over a Leo and he has the same upset face as Hayley and Alex

Hayley: "Well you know how Mom was an astronaut?

I nodded

Hayley: "Well, she was going on one of her missions this time to the moon and they were were about 5 seconds into the mission and her rocket went up in flames."

I sighed looking pretty upset, I stand up and walk over to where I'm hoping my bed would be I just guessed which bed would be mine hoping I was right.

Leo: " *whispered* Hey, that's my bed, but don't move you're completely fine where you are"

Leo sat next to me, which I thought was nice, having a familiar face after being told that news.

Leo: "I'm sorry. I know it's a lot to take in, moving to a new school, seeing your siblings you haven't seen in years and now being told the news your mother had passed away. I know exactly what you're going through *takes a deep breath* I lost my mother at the age of 10, she got in a car accident just as she was leaving to go on a trip with all her girlfriends. So I saw her car go up."

I just sat there and hugged him, that's all I could do I felt awful for him having to explain to me just to try make me feel better.

Maya: "I'm so sorry Leo, you didn't have to tell me any of that, let alone go into so much detail, I really appreciate you being there for me though. I've never really had a set friend before and now I feel like I kinda have one in you"

Leo: "Of course, forever and always."

I didn't mean to friendzone him... Shit. I just friendzoned him.

What am I gonna do?

So, I got really into writing this book and wrote a second chapter tonight!! I fully have nothing else to do with my nights!!
