Waking up and changing into something comfy. Knocking on Katie's door.

I hear her footsteps but I lean closer to the door. Because I heard another voice.

I can't make it out but I know it's a boy. The door handle moving I move back.

"You ready?" She nods and we walked down. "Mom we're leaving to drop off Katie at the airport!" I shout since she is out in the pool.

"Okay!"

Grabbing one of her suitcases and I see Jeremiah. He came and take the suitcase and puts them in the back.

Katie got in the front and I in the back. "Cass, I'm sorry about yesterday at the restaurant." Looked through the mirror so he can see my emotions.

I know Katie going to ask me questions. "It's fine, I guess." Staring at the window.

Once we got to the airport we walked her before she goes through security.

I hug her so tight and she does the same. "What was Jeremiah talking about?" She whispers in my ear.

"It's nothing. Conrad." I say. "Oh," We let go and she goes to Jeremiah. I stand by myself and I see them talking.

I'm pretty sure she's telling him to make sure nothing bad happens to me. And to make sure I'm happy.

"Okay, I'm out. Bye," Waving at us. And I did it back.

"Let's go." We left the airport and went to my house.

Sitting down on the sofa watching TV. "Jere?" I began. "Yeah," Putting all his attention on me.

"Do you ever think about the future?" I don't know why I thought about this. Maybe I'm just scared if Nathan falls for my Ex- best friend.

She's so pretty like way prettier than me. She has a perfect curve and her blonde hair that catches everyone's attention.

Unlike mine, I only have dark brown hair. No perfect body.

Lay down on the sofa staring at the ceiling.

"No? Why?" He asks. "I guess I'm just scared." Covered my face with my hands.

I hear him coming to me, I feel him get on top of me. He grabs my hands so he can see my face.

He leans a bit waiting for me to tell him. "It's just stuff," I mumble. Pushing him off of me.

It was 2 o'clock and my mom was in her room. Jeremiah left due to work he had.  Knocking on her door.

"Yeah?"

Opening I see her again in her date outfit. I've been seeing her leaving the house almost every day. Leaving me alone with Katie.

But Katie left and I can't have Jeremiah come. Nor Conrad we're still not good. I wish we can be on good terms. But it's his actions. The way he acts.

I miss the way we were together. But guess that fucked him up.

"Mom, where are you going again?" Sitting on her bed. My fingers going through the picture frame of me and her together.

"I'm going out with Susannah." Pulling up her hair. Going out with Susannah doesn't mean she needs to wear her date outfits?

Something is up and she's not telling me. She began to leave her room but I stop her.

"Mom, if you're keeping something from me, would you tell me?" She puts her hand on my chin. And kisses my forehead.
