"Happy anniversary." Roy mumbled in my ear as he woke me up.

"Mhm. Happy anniversary." I snuggled up closer to him and he played with my hair.

"Do you want me to make something?" He asked.

"Not without me, I got this recipe from Marie I want to try out." I sat up and he started getting out of bed.

It was too hard to not stare so I didn't try to fight it. His body was that of a Greek God and I've explored every inch of it countless times but I really wouldn't mind doing it again right now.

He smirked when he saw me starting and put on a t-shirt. "Take a picture, it'll last longer." He teased.

"Psh, why would I need a picture? I see enough of you." I flipped my hair and he laughed.

We were in the kitchen gathering things to make pancakes and I was cutting up little strawberry bits to put in them.

"Happy Valentines Day, by the way." I said as I shrugged his coat off of my shoulders and took off my heels.

"Happy Valentine's Day." He leaned into me and kissed me tenderly. "Let's go to bed, I've had something on my mind all day and I figured we could sort it out." He winked.

"I think I could help you with that." He scooped me into his arms and carried me bridal style up the stairs and into our room.

He laid me down on the bed and buried his face into the crook of my neck. I giggled and pulled him closer.

"You looked gorgeous today, babe." He stood up and undressed.

"And you looked handsome today, sweetie." I stood up as well and turned around. "Unzip me?"

He slowly pulled down on the zipper and the dress fell to the floor. He wrapped his arms around my waist and rested his head on my shoulder.

He furrowed his eyebrows and tilted his head. "Well, that threw me off guard." His lips slowly curled upwards. "Maes."

I smiled back at him and caressed his cheek. "What if it were a girl?"

"Well, what would you like to name it?" He raised his eyebrows.

"Lainey,"

"Sounds pretty, but we've got at least a few more months before babies are a factor, okay?" He chuckled.

"I know, I'm just excited." I placed myself next to him and crawled under the covers.

He did the same and wrapped an arm around my waist. "Goodnight, Riza."

"Goodnight." I yawned.

"So, how was your anniversary?" Marie smirked as we pulled the newly sprouted weeds out of my garden.

"It was nice, we went out to eat then went to bed, you know. Typical Valentines Day." I shrugged.

"Mhm," She giggled. "I'm sure that's all."

"You act like a schoolgirl rather than a housewife, you know." I laughed.

"Yeah, that's alright."

"Roy and I are having the wedding this Summer, I was wondering if you'd help me plan." I changed the subject.

"Of course, I love weddings! I had mine in the spring. It's been about 6 years now, still happier than ever." She cooed.

"If you don't mind me asking, how old are you? I was just wondering what age you had Alice at, I hope I don't sound rude."

"No, of course not. I'm 30, I had Alice when I was 25. How old are you?"

"I'm 26, Roy and I have a 3 year age difference." I stood up and brushed off my pants.

"Oh, He's 29?" She asked and I nodded. "Jeremy and I grew up together so we're the same age."

"How old were you when you met?" I asked.

"We were just little kids, probably around 8." She smiled. "What about you and Roy?"

"I was 17, my father taught him flame alchemy so we became acquainted. A year later I joined the military academy and within another year, we were sent into Ishval." I stared up at the clouds and sighed. "Looks like rain."

"I'd say," She looked at me with a pained expression. "I'm sorry you had to go through that."

"I put that on myself, no need to pity me." Next thing I knew it was pouring rain and Marie was giving me a hug.

"I'll see you later!" She said as she picked up her things and ran over to her house, screaming.

I laughed and jogged inside, then curled up on the couch with a book and listened to the soothing sound of raindrops tapping on the window.
