Ringing

Ringing.

That's all I can hear.

Ringing inside my head as I watch him take the hit.

I couldn't hear anything aside from that. I see him standing there on top of that rock. Blood. Everywhere on him and surronding him. Before I even register what is happening my legs take off sprinting. As I'm getting closer, all that is going through my head is, "Please be okay. Please be alright. Please don't die on me." After what feels like an eternity, I finally make it him just as he collapes on his knees. I drop in front of him as he begin to cough up more blood.

"ZORO....... wh-why?" I pleadingly ask.

"I couldn't let you end your life. The crew needs you more than me. And honeslty, I don't know if I'll make it from this. I-I'm sorry." coughing more he drops almost into ground until I catch his lifeless body. A gasp escapes my lips as I catch him falling to ground. As I stay holding him it feels as though I couldn't move. I see drips going on to Zoro's shoulder and I now realize that I am crying. I cradle him sobbing silently into him. My whole trembling as I try to softly shake him. "Wake up! P-Please. You're not supposed to go like this. You're supposed to be with us! With Luffy! W-With me....YOU WERE SUPPOSED TO WORLDS GREATEST SWORDSMAN DON'T YOU DIE ON ME" At this point, my vision is nonexistent from the amount of tears streaming down my face. Desperately, not knowing if anyone can hear me or not, I cry out, "CHOPPER"

Silence

"CHOPPER PLEASE"

Nothing

Brokenly, I let out a sob in agony as I get myself up and pick up Zoro bridal style. The pain in my legs are slowly getting worse but at this moment, it's the least of my worries. Getting to Chopper or Luffy or anyone at this point is more important. As I stagger my way though the forest, I keep calling out to anyone. After a few more steps, I finally drop to the ground. Again with much more desperation and many terrible voice cracks I scream out, "CHOPPER. ANYONE. PLEASE"

I hear running and then an audible gasp.

"SANJI. ZORO." A high pitch voice calls out. Chopper thank god. He transforms and grabs both of us throwing us over each shoulder. He begin sprinting taking us back to the ship. "Are you guys okay?!" He exclaims. "Chopper. We need to.....get back to the....ship. We...need to....we need to save Zoro....p-please" I feel myself going back and forth consciousness and unconsciousness. "Hang in there guys. We'll be there soon." I let out a breath which feels like the first one I've had for 10 minutes. "Thank.....you" My head drops as I finally lose consciousness.

Hello! I usually just read on here buuuuut I thought I would try doing this instead! I'm in college for an English degree so doing this thought might help me and it's about a pairing I thoroughly enjoy! Updates aren't going to consistent but I am shooting for a few times a week. Hence I've never done this before, I also do not know how long this story will be. I am just writing as I go and just letting my mind take me anyhwere it wants for this story. I will also be updating chapters regularly on if I think of a few more ideas at a later time that will help the plot so if something is different from what you read before! If anyone has recommendations on what they would to see and it fits I'll add it in. If not, I will possibly start a One Shot book and bring ideas to life!
