~You are bound to loose the most precious things, sometimes not for it to be replaced. ~
RAHAAN
I sat beside her, and had a grip on her back, while she sobbed in my arms. Ever little sob coming out from her was breaking me equally. I am not a man who cries, but even I felt heat in my eyes.. Tears pulled in.
That man might not be the greatest guy but his constant presence have started mattering. I didn't wanted him to live happily after what he did to Misha but what have happened is not right.
Adah kept bawling in front of the hospital room. "It was brain haemorrhage." The doctor slowly muttered about what caught Adarsh in death.
Adah's didn't look she has energy to say anything. A single day in her life from yesterday morning to today had got her in very high jumps.
She hastily stood up and attempted to go in but was stopped, "They are suturing him. I don't think you want to see his body," he said when her father yelled from behind. "She is a fucking doctor. She can see it." As soon as they heard they let her go.
She went inside, while I stood behind.
I don't know why? But I wanted to see if doctor and her father had any kind of friendship. But they both ignored enough other like neither of them exist. They just went away. "I didn't wanted to hand his life in that bastard's capabilities." His father mumbled. And sounded more like he was angry that the doctor could have saved him.
Maybe, this was simply fate.
I wanted to go and support Adah, so when they started to take Adarsh out, I realised Adah didn't came back from inside. Adarsh was covered in white sheet, only his face out. And this mere screen made my heart ache deeper then before.
He was a jerk but strongest guy I know, who fought till last. And here seeing him lifeless was hard.
I passed from the nurses to inside, and sat down beside Adah, on the floor while she bawled.
"Why? Why did this have to happen? He was, he- didn't deserve to die." She cried to me, I nodded to her and hugged her. "I am to blame. Everything started because of me. I thought I could have gotten over Misha'a death, but not I am guilty for another." She spoke slowly, "How could he kill himself?" She cried out. And I couldn't help it.
"I don't think you should blame yourself, this fight, the result nothing related to you." I confessed, she briefly rigid but she she shook her head and looked up. "No, I did this." She cried keeping her head om my shoulder.
"No, he didn't kill himself Adah, he is not that weak. Misha pushed him off." I completed and she looked up at me shocked.
"What?"
"Your mother confessed, that it was tit for tat. That since Misha was pushed by him, Misha pushed him. And why was Misha pushed for? Because Adarsh wanted to take revenge on Jagdish. It was all a fight for within, don't blame yourself. They were killing and dying in there own." I might sound jerk.
But I don't want Adah to live her rest of her guilt, she have it tough. Alot. Not anymore.
She stood up hastily and turned to see my face,"Misha murdured Adarsh?" She yelled and before I can caught up with her she left the room, and strode towards her parents who were talking among themselves.
"Dad, what did you do?" She asked yelling at his face, he just stared blankly at me. And realised that I told her everything. He started to calm her down.
"Listen, he tried to kill Misha, he almost killed her. And don't forget, that she went crazy because of what that dead man do to him. We just wanted revenge so we let Misha throw him off the building after lying to him that you were trying to kill yourself. And we just played with heart rate monitor a little" He said to her daughter.
"If world starts to take eye for an eye, we all will turn blind. Like you are right now with your rationality. Dad!" She yelled at his father, when he looked heart broken. "I was trying to just think about my daughters nothing else." He cried to his daughter. But she pulled away.
"I can't believe how can you do this with a person. My decision to live you all and stay away from you was right. I don't want to turn in a heartless monster like you all, I don't want to! She fought with her tears, what has she left, her family, Adarsh! Everyone took troll on her.
She backend but, before we all could realise that this fight was in the hallway of hospital were cops were standing because this was a suicide case for them. Her family had confessed everything in front of cops.
They all shook there head here and there and released that they have admitted to there crimes right before us. Adah was standing when the police approached and started to do there work before them, and she just faltered steps back until she fall in my arms. Tears had pooled in her eyes but she was strong to not let them drop.
She tried constantly to resist her urge to cry,
She stood tall and she watched them being questioned when the kept lying but the police had rather strong influence. Soon they started to be dragged away.
She lost so much today. Funny thing is, all her life she was running away from them.
