"(y/n), wait for me!" Grell shouted from behind you as you walked down the hallway of the Phantomhive Manor.
"What do you need Grell?" you asked your best friend. "Nothing, just wanted to walk my friend to her room." he responded smoothly, now walking aloud your side.
"Hey, (y/n)?"
"Hmm?"
"Do you... um.... like anyone?" he asked you nervously trying to hide his huge blush. Grell had a crush on you ever since you first met when you went on a mission with the Phantomhive's. You had also formed a small, still developing crush on him, but you still didn't know he had the same feelings. Since he always flirted with Sebastian, you assumed he was gay and had no interest in you.
"Yeah." you answered hoping he couldn't see your blush.
"Who is it?" Grell asked feeling deflated, since you liking someone that wasn't him was a pretty huge percent, since he had many flaws that could get some one to not like him in the way he did, he doubted you liked him.
"Someone I can never have..." your eyes widened because you just realised what you had just said.
'Huh? What does she mean 'never have'?' Grell wondered in his head.
"And~ who would that be?" he question ignoring his confusion and testing his limits.
"I... um...." you stopped walking "I mean you." you said nervously and embarrassed, answering the red-heads questions. Grell stood there in shock, unable to move, eyes widened, and mouth agape.
"You like me?!"
"Y-Yeah" you said sadly, knowing he wouldn't feel the same way. "I always have." you managed to add on. You felt like running away, never coming back, then dying, but Grell did something completely unexpected.
He hugged you, stopping you from leaving or even moving. His face was so close to yours, you could smell his breath, it smelt warm and welcoming, there was no specific scent to it, just warm and calming. He pushed his face forward slightly, just enough to push his lips gently against yours. You were shocked but you accepted the kiss and kissed him back, wrapping your arms around his neck.
Slowly, but surely he started to get deeper into the kiss, now it was a more passionately. He pushed you up against a wall, so now you were pushed up against his chest. You guys pulled away, due to the desperate need of oxygen (DAMNIT, AIR, WHY?!).
Grell drew himself back from you and said this: "We should take this somewhere more... private."
