"The answer is what we all fear the most...death". It was silent for a few minutes and the she smiles. "It seems you didn't need a second try mate of Tristan because you're right" relief filled me as she said that. "Now can I go find Tristan?" I asked gripping the knife tightly.  "She chuckled at my question and nodded. She lifted her hands and I saw a purple stone. "Swallow this in order to be able to breathe. Like I said earlier your mate is in a deep trance Neroli and you would have to retrieve Tristan in the deep abyss but when it comes to  the ocean you humans are clueless about what lies beneath. All I can say is nothing is as it seems and trust not your heart but your mind and lastly make no promises to anybody as you will be held a accountable to it". I nodded and slowly swallowed the stone.

My stomach felt a little warm and then went back to normal. The mermaid nodded slowly. "You are ready, now get in the water. I stared at  the water with trepidation but soon got in it. I didn't know it was that deep as the water has gotten to my neck already. I turned to look at Serena and she smiled at me reassuringly "come with me now" she started to swim slowly and I followed suit. We kept swimming until we got to what looked like a black hole. "Down there leads to the abyss.... Just keep swimming until you, follow the light and remember to trust no man. I would have love to follow you but even the good or bad I'm responsible for all sea life and I am not allowed to interfere with what ever they do" I nodded slowly and began my journey down to the Abby. I kept swimming and swimming and sure enough I was being guided by a light. The knife was my only companion as I kept swimming below and below. "Psst!!" I paused and looked around seeing nothing approaching I continued to swim "psst!! Little girl what are you doing here" I turned around and there was another mermaid there but she was different from Serena in the sense that her tail was pure black same with her hair, lips and nails. Behind her were 2 octopus also in black color. She stared a me with disdain and I also had an ominous feeling about her. Suddenly she smiled "I guess you're the mate of Tristan but Tristan isn't here he's in the trenches. I looked confused but she just shook her head. "Come with me and I'll take you there" no way in hell was I going to trust this woman so I just shook my head and continued to swim being lead by the light "are you listening to Serena and not me! Because she is the guardian and bla bla blah" I paused and turned to stare at her. She swarm closer but paused as if there was a barrier around me.

Looking annoyed at that she smiled at me again but it didn't reach her eyes this time "I'm telling you that Tristan is in the Trench and not the abyss, you have to come with me" I frowned again and shook my head. Serena words kept ringing in my head about trusting no one. I continued to swim ignoring her ranting. I kept swimming and swimming until I saw something in the distance that looks like a shining orb. I started to swim with determination until I got to the point. I felt so elated when I saw that it was indeed Tristan. But he was in a cage and surrounded by that orb. His eyes was closed and he seemed to be floating but order that that he seemed fine. I swarm around it looking for an opening but found none. I thought about what must be happening and felt so tired. Tired of everything up to this point. Tired of being weak. Tired of not knowing how to do anything. Your love for each other.....

Serena words kept playing in my head  so gripping the knife I used it to burst the orb but it didn't work. Tristan was still trapped in there or what was his spiritual form. I paused again and tried to collect my thoughts. Your love for each other. Love for each other. Love each other. For each other. Each other.....

I stated at the bubble orb thin again and stretched fort my hand again. My eyes widened when I could penetrate it and soon all my body was inside the orb. I swarm towards the cage and sure enough the door was in the shape of a knife. I placed it them and the door opened. Reaching out I took Tristan's hand and lead him out. He kept floating around and not opening his eyes.  I kept leading him out of the abyss and didn't see that mermaid there. Soon we were out of the black hole and Serena was waiting for me. Together we dragged Tristan to shore. "How will we get his soul back, I mean his physical body is in the mortal realm and...." My voice trailed off as Tristan seemed to glow and then he disappear. Serena smiled and then turned to look at me. "All you needed to do was bring Tristan out of that orb, it was only your love that could bring Tristan out of that orb and now that his soul is free, we can only pray and hope that Tristan is strong enough to fight Lord Raven and the spell that he has casted" I stared at her and smiled. " I have complete faith in Tristan..... he'll be strong enough to defeat Raven but I don't know how to get back" I said sheepishly and Serena laughed "Think of this experience like a dream and when you close your eyes and open it again.. you'll wake up" I stared at her and slowly did as she asked. I closed my eyes slowly and when I opened them I was back with Reid. His eyes lightened up when it met mine. "You're back mate of Tristan and were you able to do it?" He asked eagerly and I slowly dragged my self up and nodded "yes, I've managed to free him......now all we can do is wait" we both began to run back to the pack house. We arrived just in time to see that half the pack house was gone and the other half was standing on a wobbly structure. Lord Raven could be seen smiling and commanding Tristan who was still laying waste to the everything in his way. Come on! Come on! Why isn't it working, why is Tristan not back yet!. I kept staring at Tristan but it still want him. He turned and I saw that his eyes were still black. My heart stated to beat and then i saw Tristan collapse. He stated shaking like he had an epileptic seizure and then he went still. I started to go towards him but was stopped by Reid. "No! You must let this happen! Please do not interfere!" My eyes seem to be leaking water as I watched the man I love just laying still. His eyes snapped open and it went from black to being clear again. I laughed in victory as Reid cheered. HE'S BACK.

First of all Merry Christmas and happy new year my lovely Family and Friends. I apologize for not updating this past few months.

Me being busy with school is not an excuse as you all have busy schedules also. I'm sincerely sorry for ghosting you all..it's just that I couldn't escape this my schedule but this story will get finished before you know it.

I have exciting stories but I will not push it out without this one being completed.
