I had this place I would visit in times of stress.
At the time, my life was a horrid mess.
I had no family, no friends, no will.
But The Flowers had something that completed me.
A beautiful shade of lilac purple, they were.
I would lay amongst them
their company as soothing as a kitten's purr
One day, I made a mistake
I wanted more from the flowers
and over hours and hours...
I created monsters
Beware of a field that resides along the trees
of gorgeous purple flowers.
The sight of them will put your mind at ease
as they whisper your name, saying
"Come closer, dear one, I have a surprise!"
You'll follow and follow until you notice their eyes.
Hundreds and hundreds of bloodshot eyes staring you down.
By then it's too late
you're falling faster and faster under their spell
and you won't return home the same.
It's not worth it.
