Chapter 1 - Exam

It was a quiet, calm, and layback morning. You thought you could oversleep because it's the weekends. BEEP BEEP, it was your alarm clock, for the third time this morning ''What the heck, I never put alarms on weekends'' you groaned, turning around in your bed to look at your phone and see why the fuck you put an alarm on the weekend! As you saw the description, waiting a few seconds for your blurry vision to come to its senses, 'UA Exam Day!'  you rubbed your eyes to see if you read that right. "Oh crap, I'm late" You got out of bed so fast you had stopped walking to the door of the bathroom for a second because everything was black.

You took a quick shower, changed your clothes, and brush your teeth. Quickly going downstairs, ''Morning Mom!'' You said to your mom who was making pancakes ''Morning darling, are you ready for your exam?'' She asked, clearly a little worried ''You know I can still put you in the recommendation, right?'' You heard your dad say behind you. You sighed ''Dad, you know I want to do this on my own! Thank you for the offer though'' You smiled even though you were a little mad. You sat down so did your dad. 

In middle school, everyone thought you had such an easy life, they thought because your dad was a pro-hero, everything was easy for you, like one thing- going to UA. They thought he could just pay for you to go to the recommendation, such he could and was going to, but you wanted to do this on your own, no one's help- and you meant no one.

You ate your breakfast, ''Okay, mom and dad.'' You said after you finished the last bite ''Imma go now'' a shiver of fear went through you 'Calm down Y/N. You got this, I think?' " Okay, sweetie! Good luck" Your mom smiled at you, and you smiled back. As you turn around to the door your dad said something that makes you believe in yourself a little more ''I believe in you, Y/N. You don't have to prove anyone wrong" You looked over your shoulder ''Thank you dad" 

Quartz. Your dad- a pro-hero. He believed in yourself when you couldn't, he loved you when you didn't, and he push you to make you strong, stronger than him. You knew this, but that was a while ago, now. All you want is to train on your own and make yourself strong, even though it didn't really work. 

You were wearing black sweatpants with a grey cropped sweatshirt. You were walking in the distance you saw the huge gate of UA ''Woah'' you said to yourself ''Dad said it was big, but not this big!" You sighed and closed for eyes for a second still walking, you opened your eyes and stopped ''This is where my future starts" You began walking again.

''What's up you all, it's me your school DJ" Present Mic said dramatically "Come on and let me hear you scream!" He said nothing but silence replied to him You chuckled to yourself a little. "Well that's fine, I'll skip straight to the main show," He said a little disappointed. "Let's talk about how this practical exam will go down, okay" Now you were listening "Are you ready?!" He yelled, you sighed putting your back to the chair and crossing your legs. Silence, yet again. "As it says in the application requirements, you listeners will be conducting ten-minute mock urban battles after this!" The screen changed you read what it said "You are here" "After the presentation, you'll head to the specified battle center, okay?" When no one replied Present Mic yelled a bit louder "Okay?!" "Okay" you whispered to yourself, a little annoyed. You looked at your card to see what center you were in. You were in center C. 

Present Mic continued his speech, telling you about the robots, and how many points they were worth. Just then a dark blue-haired boy jumped up from his seat. "I'm very sorry for interrupting your speech sir, but there are 4 robots on the guild, this is such a foolish mistake, one UA shouldn't be doing!" You blinked at the boy for a while, confused. "We are here because UA is known for being the best, yet you made this mistake." 

He continued "Also, you with the curly hair! You've been muttering this whole time. Stop that. If you can not take this seriously, then leave" He finished as he looked at the boy. "No need to call him out like that" you muttered to yourself. He was a little far from you, but when you were looking at him, you saw this black-haired boy, he was sitting one seat away from you looking at you 'Oh, did he hear me?'  You shook your head and looked at Present Mic, waiting for him to speak. "That's a very good question! Well, that robots is a 0 pointer, if I were you I would try and avoid it"

You walked out of the bus to see a huge gate. "There must be a area, like a town" You said to yourself. You stretched a little as Present Mic said "Right, Let's start!" You turned to look at the speaker "There are no countdowns in real battles" You turned to look at the gate again "Run, run listeners! You're wasting time!" As the gates open you rused there "Only need a few points" You said to yourself

At this point you already had 34 points "5 3-pointers, 7 2-pointers, and 5 1-pointers" You said "In total that's 36, not too bad Y/N, if I say so myself" You praised yourself, running around looking for more robots. As you were looking you saw the black-haired boy again, breathing heavily not knowing there was a 2-pointer behind him, running straight for him. "Watch out!" You yelled as you run to him, you made a crystal sword around your hand and destroyed the robot which was coming for him. "Are you alright?" You asked "Woah! That was so manly. I'm alright, thanks!" He said with a smile "So what's your nam-" "Times up!" Present Mic yelled from the speaker "Oh, I got to go, have a good day!" You said to the boy and run off

Crystals, that was your quirk, just like for father's quirk. The color of your crystals was the color of your hair, H/C.
