Clueless Temptress

Death

Celeste dropped to her knees as they lowered her mother and father into the ground. Tears escaped her eyes as her breath quickened and seemed to escape her. People watched her in pity, and she hated it more than anything. She got up wiping her tears and she ran off towards her car and she drove home. Celeste began packing everything up and putting them in her car before driving off to a new location.  Celeste drove quietly as she stared at the wet road. "I'm going far away and I'm never coming back." She stated staring at the towns limit sign.

Celeste hopped out of her car right into a puddle. "Ah great." She groaned at her now wet shoes AND socks. She pouted before grabbing her stuff out of her car and heading to her new apartment, quietly she unlocked the door with the key under the mat before walking and taking off her shoes and socks at the door. She picked up a brochure on the table before groaning. "This town is called Sorrow Hills, and yet they say it's a dream land." Celeste rolled her eyes before heading into her bedroom and placing her stuff down. She walked around her room, observing it. The floorboards groaned ever so slightly in response to every other step that was taken. After working for a bit, she finished setting her stuff up in her bedroom, and she got changed and headed to school. She arrived at the school office to see a pathetic lady sitting there loudly chewing gum. "Excuse me? I'm here to register for Sorrow High School." She stated as the lady stared at her with bored eyes. "Here, fill out these forms." The lady handed her the forms, and she began to fill out the forms except for the parent form, for she had none now. The lady looked at the forms before placing them down and typing them into the computer. "Alright, you are all set up. Here is your schedule, and you will start tomorrow. If you have questions, don't ask me as I don't care." The rude lady said before focusing her eyes back on her phone. Celeste rolled her eyes before heading back to her car and driving home, not noticing the enchanted eyes staring at her.

TIME SKIP

Celeste jumped onto her bed and sighed loudly. "It's so depressing here, but it's a good cover." She pulled out her phone and saw a missing alert for her in her town. She rolled her eyes. "Oh, so now they care since they can't access my inheritance. Pathetic." She grumbled before getting off her phone and shutting her eyes. Celeste got up and pulled her pajamas out of her bag and changed, though it was just her underwear and a huge baggy t-shirt. Once again, she plopped onto her bed and crawled under the covers before falling asleep.
