Chapter 16

I wake up to Cameron knocking on my door. It's been three days since our little fight, and I have two days left.

"Yes?" I ask.

"Auntie Louise told me to bring you breakfast."

"No thanks..."

"You need to eat!"

"No!"

He opens my door with a tray of food.

"You need to eat!" He argues.

"No, I don't want to eat, get up, or go anywhere... I just wanna sleep."

"Well you have a visitor, so you need to eat and get dressed." he says and sits on the end of my bed handing me my food.

"Ugh finee..." I grab the food to start eating and he walks out. When I finish I put on my #ZachClayton crop top and Teal shorts. I check my phone and I have 10 new messages all from Hunter, I click the first one,

'Savanna? can we talk?' I delete it.

'Pleaseeee answer me!'

'I didn't mean to get upset!'

'Please I'm so sorry Sav I won't ever get mad at you again...'

'I need to see you! I need to make this right! just meet up with me sometime?'

'Please stop ignoring me.'

'I'm so sorry 😭'

'Fine...I just will stop messaging you.'

'I love you❤, I hope you know that...💔'

'I'm at your house...'

Once I finish reading them I delete them and message him back.

'Yea I kinda guessed...'

'So will you come down?' he messages back almost immediately.

'Yea I guess...'

I set my phone down and do my makeup. I apply eyeliner, mascara, and lipstick.

"Savanna.." Hunter said when I came down the stairs.

"Hunter..."

"Can I take you out today?" He asks.

"Yea I guess."

Aunt Louise walks up to me and whispers, "you should forgive him, just let him explain."

"Ok let's go..." I put on my shoes and walk out the door.

We end up going to a park.

"Look I just wanna explain ok?" He says and we sit on a bench.

"Yea..."

"Ok the only reason I got so upset was because I thought that you liked him back, and when I said it was probably your fault he liked you. I meant it like you could get any guy to like you because you are so pretty, and when I saw you crying I knew you didn't like him back. I'm so sorry really I am. I love you so much! and I don't wanna fight please forgive me?" it looks like he was gonna cry.

"I'm so sorry to!" I hug him.

"I love you" he whispers.

"I love you too, I love you so much."

"Savanna?"

"Yeah?"

"Do you think we will get married one day?" he asks.

"I sure hope so."

"I don't mean to upset you but what day do you have to go back to New York?" he asks with a sad face.

"I have today and two more days, then I have to leave early in the morning the next day."

"Can't you just stay here for longer?"

"I wish..."

"Well maybe you can just stay with us for the rest of the summer?" he asks gaining alittle hope.

"No my mom would never let me, she would kill me if she found out I spent the night at your place let alone stay for the summer."

"Yeah I guess.."

"I'm sorry.." I look down at my hands.

"Why are you sorry?" he asks.

"Because I can't stay longer."

I look away, I tear falls down my cheek.

"Don't start crying, you are gonna make me cry." he forces out a little laugh.

"I know I'm sorry." I wipe away my tears and smile at him.

He's the love of my life...
