"There is no electric field inside a hollow sphere.... But outside it varies inversely with square of radius" I was sitting on my dinning table studying for my boards that were less than a month away. A usual I kept fiddling with my chair swinging it back and forth mom has told me many times not to do so but I enjoy doing it so I kept on doing.
I wanted to ask mom when dinner would be ready but I could not see her so I tilted the chair a bit more in order to see her..
" MOM is dinner.." The chair slipped and I fell backwards My head made contact with the floor I don't think that I can explain what it felt like but being hit by Thor's hammer may be close enough..
All I remember is seeing is red liquid on the floor and my mom's feet running up to me and then her worried face asking me to say something..
I wanted to tell her to be carefull not to slip on the water she is little clumsy but my mouth was not opening..
then like someone closed curtains to the stage my eyes closed blackness all around..

My head did not hurt anymore I woke up on the sofa mom was sitting beside me when I opened my eyes..
" Are you alright.." I could not understand what had happened seconds ago I was bleeding and now I don't see any blood and it did not even hurt anymore.
"Mom what happened? " I asked totally confused looking around to make some sense of the matter.
" Addu like always you did not listen to me and got yourself in trouble. I have told you a million times do not rock the chair still you do it and fell on your back you were unconscious for more that five minutes I already called the ambulance... " mom continued to scold me as lightly as possible I mean I was unconscious so so much for taking it light I mean really...
As for me I was more busy looking out the window that is when I saw the water rushing from all the sides...
By that time it had caught mom's attention too......
I got on my feet and went to the door opened the gate and looked out...
The waves were as high as my 3 floor home and that moment I realised that all of us are just the creations of God and we are nothing....
"He Bhagwan(OH my lord) " was all that came out of my mouth...
it only took me few minutes to regain my senses.
" Mom we need to get upstairs fast now... " I slammed the door shut and tried to think of thing the we might need I got my mobile and a biscuit pack and ran behind my mom....
I knew that with the speed with which the water was coming nothing would stop it....
Mom had knee problem so it was gonna take her time to reach up stairs..
I ran up to her looked in her eyes and kissed her...
"I love you. Try reaching up as soon as possible I am right behind you" I gave her a soft nudge..
"Go on mom fast" from of the corner of my eye I could see the water had come up to the top of the window.
all it took was a split of a second and the window broke and water started to rush in....
"Quick mom.. " I tried to shout over the water that had reached my feet we were halfway there and the water had reached my waist I took out my mobile so it does not get wet..
The water must stop at some point it can't keep on rising like this where must it be coming from my mind was wandering around trying to figure this out..
We reached the terrace and there was a lock on the door.
"Mom keys where are the keys" I shouted over the water I saw her fumbling trying to find the keys in the cupboard.
"I found it...!! " She shouted and in excitement she dropped the keys in the water.. When I thought that the worst has happened the keys fell in the rising water....
I jumped back in and randomly started moving my in hopes to find the keys as it was too dark to see...
The lord was with us so I found the keys soon....
Opened the door and stepped out on the terrace......
