Alexis's POV.
"Justin?" I shook him awake. "Huh?" "We landed." "But I'm not done bonding with the chair." "You can bond with a bed in a hour." "Fine," Parting his eyes, he groaned once again in complain. "Help me up." After finally getting up to his feet, we grabbed our things and exited the high-class section. Pushing through people, we un-boarded the plane into the airport and scrambled around till we found our way out the doors to the street. Justin held me against him as tight as he possibly could, afraid of losing me in the crowds. "Ah, Justin, please let go." "I'm not taking a risk of you getting lost." "It hurts." Obeying my pushing on his arm, he loosened his embrace till it didn't hurt me anymore, yet it was still tight. While he tried getting a cab reserved for us, I looked up at the sky. It was almost dawn, sunrise beginning. A sudden jerk on my body snapped me from the sight making me look at Justin bewildered. "Sorry, Sweetheart. I didn't know you weren't paying attention." "My fault."
"Which name again?" Shifting on his feet irritated, Justin repeated our last names. "I'm sorry, Sir, but your room has been given away." "You're fucking kidding me." Hitting his head with his hand, he turned his gaze away from the man. I can't believe I'm going to do this but.. Placing my hand on Justin's shoulder, I pulled him back. I walked up to the desk and leaned over supporting my body with it. "So, I hear you've given my husband's reservation away, huh?" Biting my lip, I traced the bottom one with my finger. I hated using my adorable look to get my ways with people. But sometimes I have to. "Um," The man gulped. "I-I may have by mi-mistake. Bu-but.." "Spit it out already. You aren't really gonna make a girl like me travel all the way back home or wait for hours in the lobby, now are you?" "What else am I suppose to do?" "Well, here's what you are going to do. You are going to either give us our first reservation, or give us a new one just as great, or better. And I won't take no for an answer. If I won't, then he defiantly won't. Understood?" "Y-yes." "Good, now get started on that. I could really use some sleep right now." "Y-es, Ma'am. Here you go." Taking the room key and brochure, I smiled over at Justin as I headed towards him. "Here you go." "Yeah, how wonderful." I grabbed his arm making him stumbled back to me. "What's that all about?" "Have fun flirting with him?" My shoulders slumped and my mouth released a sigh. "Justin, c'mon. You know it wasn't like that. It was fake and it was the only way to get a room," Circling his neck with my arms, I pressed our chests together. "I'm yours and only yours.. Forever.. I love you." Exhaling deeply, he pecked my lips and nodded. "I know, I just don't like you doing that with other guys. But I trust you and I love you too." "Good. Now let's go to our new room I bribed into getting." Chuckling, he clasped my hand and began leading the way.
"Baby, where'd you go?" He called from the bed. "Bathroom." "It's easier to lose you in here than it would have been at the airport." Letting my laughs escape, I washed the soap from my face. After patting my skin dry, I flipped my the lights off and made my way around the corner to the bed. {Go to the right of the page where external link is and go to the photo please.} This hotel suite was defiantly the opposite of the one from the last vacation. Hopefully some parts with be different too. I wouldn't be pleased to have my wrist slit again by a dish. Or to be sick as can be. And this time when we ate out, I would be sure to keep an eye out on the waiters so I won't be wearing food at the end of the nights. "Enjoying it?" I mocked. "Yeess." Shaking my head, a giggle slipping, I lightly plopped down on the mattress. I curled my limbs up in a ball and hugged them sensing I only had little space available with Justin spread out across the comforter, looking as if he was in heaven. Burying his face deeper in the softness, he moaned. Though I'm married to him, I sometimes don't have a clue of understanding him. Noticing his mind drifting to rest, I slapped his head with a pillow. "I guess I have to sleep on the couch?" Opening his eyes in confusion, he realized what little space I had. "Whoops. C'mere, Baby." Rolling on his back, he spread his arms. I agreed to crawl into them and snuggle into my husband. The feeling still isn't quite right to call him my husband. I wonder if he feels the same with me being his wife.. No, no, go away.. Recently I had thoughts and ideas constantly coming into my mind and floating around. They revolved around one subject. My marriage and what has been missed out on. The need in me grew more each time I thought of this particular idea. Since Justin and I have been hitched for two years, but missed out on those months, why not have a new start? As in renew our vows. I wanted so badly to ask him his opinion on it but I had one conscious on one shoulder saying, "Yes, yes, tell him. This could be a better start to y'alls new beginning." But on the other shoulder, another one was sat downing that idea. "Are you crazy? He'll think you hate your marriage." I had spent much time before pondering on the facts of both directions and had finally chosen one. "Justin?" I watched my fingers tap repeatedly on his torso to occupy myself. "Yeah, Angel?" "I.. Promise you won't get mad at this? It's just a thought." "I promise. What's going through your intelligent mind?" "You know that not long after the wedding, I went for the Marines. And well, because of that we missed out on two years of marriage. You want a new beginning with us so another way besides this vacation that suites what I want is.. Can we renew our vows? We could have a new first two years and actually.. Wait, that's not the same." Frowning, I felt like a moron. I might as well have it stamped on my forehead in bold writing.
End of POV.
Justin's POV.
I sat up and pried Alexis's hands from her face that were now practically glued to her skin. I finally beat her strength and trapped her wrist to the mattress. "Look at me." "No. I'm such an idiot. How do you expect me to look you in the eye after that?" "You're not an idiot. It's okay. I know what your getting at and I just.. I've had small thoughts about it but I'm not so sure." "Why?" Looking deep into her sparkling orbs, I saw she truly wanted a new start and a new chance. "I don't know. It doesn't seem right. Having two of the exact same marriages? One seems more meaningful." "Oh, okay. Never-mind on the thought then." Turning on her side with her back now to me, she folded her arms under her head. I knew she was holding tears in, attempting hard to keep them back and all signs away. "Hey, let's not do this tonight. We can discuss it once we're in better moods and not tired. Don't cry please. And," Kissing her head for comfort, I lingered my lips there. "don't lose hope. I'm telling you that now. Don't lose hope." "O-okay." "I'm so sorry for making you upset." I looked more to have a better view of her face. Her lips trembled and a single tear drop had come from both sockets. I grabbed a blanket from the bottom of the bed and put it over us. Leaving the lamp on, I wrapped my arms around my Sleeping Beauty from behind. "I love you." "L-ove you too."

I awoke to the sound of a door creaking open and light footsteps. I squinted in my sleepy vision to see Alexis coming out the bathroom. It feels relaxing to know I'm waking up in Hawaii. And it's even better to know I'm only here with Alexis. "Lexy.." "Stop calling me that." "Why? I've called you that for years." "I know. I don't like it. It's like you're calling another girl, not me." "Sorry, Love. I never knew that.. Are you okay today?" Crossing her arms on her stomach she yawned, now sitting on the bed. "Yeah, I just hate mornings." "Sleep later." "I'm already wide awake. And hungry." I smiled seeing her give me a cheesy one. That's my que to get up an ready for the day. "Alright, we'll go to breakfast after getting ready." "Or.." "Or what, Cutie Pie?" "Order in?" "Room service?" "Mhm."
Setting her fork down, Alexis stood up as I came out the bathroom towel drying my hair. "Your turn, Beautiful." "I don't wanna get ready." "You don't have to. You're already perfect. And we can just stay in here today." "You make me seem boring." "Well you aren't boring."
"Justin?" "Coming!" Tossing the shirts on the bed, I walked over to the bathroom door and looked at Alexis in the mirror. "What are we doing?" "I was thinking the museum maybe." "What kind?" "Uhh I think it may be like rare beach items an animal fossils. I don't know." "Of course you don't, Dork." "I'm your dork though." "My handsome dork indeed."

"You're always perfect, beautiful, cute. It's so hard to handle." Alexis giggled at my words and shook her head. "Not true." "Totally is to." "M'Kay, you keep thinking that." "I will because it's true. Now let's go cause I can keep this up all day."
"But.." Tilting her head to the side, she scratch her head in confusion. I smiled a bit at her cluelessness mixed with cuteness. "Baby, what don't you get?" "The part about.. Everything." I glanced at our advertiser to see him chuckling silently. "Like me to explain once more?" "Or we could go to the next." "Which ever suits you best." While he led the way to the next section to describe history, I whispered in Alexis'a ear what the last artifact meant. The man used too elegant words when explaining for her, me also though, to understand.
