My body starts to shake and suddenly I wake up. After my eyes get used to the light I look out of the tiny airplane window. It landed safely in Bahrain. I fell asleep with my airpods still in my ear. 'The Days' by Avicii is playing, I keep it on and patiently wait till the plane comes to a stop. The seatbelt light turns off and I start collecting my things. I am really excited to get to the circuit. I take my luggage out of the cabine and slowly walk behind the other people to the exit of the plane. There are a lot of Dutch, mainly Max Verstappen fans, going to the Grand Prix this weekend.
I rented a spacious apartment for the weekend which is close to the circuit. While in the cab I look out of the window. I see a lot of Formula 1 fans, you can clearly see who support which driver. Even though I am Dutch, I have never been a big Max Verstappen fan. Basically since I watch the grand prix which is a few years now I have been supporting Lewis Hamilton. Can't really tell you why, he just has a very likeable character and he is a great driver. The taxi arrives at the apartment building. The driver helps me with my baggage and I walk into the building. After I checked in I walk to the elevator which gets me to the top floor. It takes a while before I have seen the whole apartment. It is almost as big as my apartment in Utrecht. When you walk in the olive green couch is the first thing your eye falls on. The wall behind it is painted baby pink. Next to the couch stand a small white table with a beige kind of oldish lamp on it. On the other side of the room hangs a big flat screen tv. The windows in the apartment are huge which makes the lightfall really pretty. I walk towards the doors which leads to the balcony. The view is beautiful. In the corner of the balcony stand a jacuzzi. I take a picture of the view with my phone and post in my story on Instagram. I put my phone away and take my luggage to the bedroom. The bedroom is in the same colors as the rest of the apartment. There is a grey king-size bed with olive green and baby pink sheets.

I unpack my stuff and take a look at the time. Free practice one starts in one hour. I take out my shampoo and conditioner and other toiletries and make my way to the bathroom. After washing the plane off of me and washing my hair I look for clothes to wear to the first part of my Grand Prix weekend. It is pretty hot outside so I am thinking about wearing a dress. I pick out a baby blue dress which ends just above my knees and has kind of puffy short sleeves. Gold jewelry would match the best with this color. A golden necklace, a golden ring and golden piercings make my outfit complete. I only need a pair of shoes. My eyes fall on a cute pair of white sandals. While making my way back to the bathroom to dry my half long dark blonde hair I take a quick look at the time. Free practice one starts in half an hour. I dry my hair and make it a bit curly with the Dyson hairdryer. I put on a bit of make up and then I'm ready to go. My VIP pass hangs around my neck while I leave the apartment. The elevator takes me downstairs. It is only a few minutes on foot to the circuit. I walk past a small coffee place and I suddenly realize I'm in desperate need of some caffeine. They don't really have a diverse range. I order an iced coffee since it's so incredibly hot. Walking further towards the circuit I see more and more Formula One fans. I make my way to the entrance and show my pass to the guards. Since the practice is about to start I immediately make my way to the sky box, which are basically the best seats of the circuit. There are only a few other sponsors I guess the rest of them doesn't really care about the practice. I take a look out of the window and excitement really starts to come to me. This is the first weekend of the season. From the skybox I can clearly see the pitlane and the starting line. These are such amazing seats. I pick a seat closest to the window and spot the Red Bull pit boxes from there. A few moments later the lights turn green and the first cars drive out of the pitbox onto the track.
