The next day at school
I was chilling at class just like if I never kissed Niki. It was a play so it isn't a big deal.. Plus tbh I wouldn't mind having a little kiss from him.
Then I felt a soft tap on my back.
"Here.. Take this and open it" whispered Niki "what do I want this for" "note inside. " whispered Niki
Niki POV
"Mr. Nishimura. Ms. Sim. What are you guys passing? " asked the teacher
"Oh don't worry I just need a sharpener. " answered Jinnie, I like the fact she wasn't stuttering :)
"Is that so? Then it's okay sorry for the misindertood. " said the teacher and she kept on reading.
"Hang out sounds nice but what excuse? " asked Jinnie as she turned back to me.
"I know.. " said Jinnie
She suddenly raised her hand to the teacher. "Miss. I suddenly feel dizzy can I go to the nurse? " asked Jinnie
"Do you think you can go alone or you need someone to-" "I can take her. " I interrupted.
"Okay.. Take her. " said the teacher,
I stood up and grabbed Jinnie's hand, I felt the creepy stare from everyone in the class, I just ignored it.
When we closed the door of the class we looked at each other smiled at went to the roof top of the school building. It's an actual nice place there, its peaceful.
"So.. What do you wanna do? " asked Jinnie
"I just want to eat snacks with you and talk. " I said
"Where are we getting the snacks? " asked Jinnie
I grabbed some chocolates from my pocket at grinned at her, Jinnie suddenly started smiling "let's dig in then! " she said
I really love it when she is happy
"Does the kiss we had yesterday made our friendship awkward to you? " I asked why do I gonna bring this on?! Ohh yeah, because I like her. That's what happens when you like someone..
"Not really. Does it make you awkward? " she said
"Wait, really? " I said, she nod normally "it was just a play after all, wasn't it? "
The moment she said that my ilusions went down just like my head slowly went down. It kinda hurt.. That means she doesn't like me.
"Are you okay? " Jinnie asked in concern
"괜찮아 Im okay" I said weakly.
She softly placed her fingers on my chin and put my head up
"You don't look okay. " she said
"Tell me what's up.. I'm the only one who wouldn't judge you. You know? " she smiled, I love her smile so much
"Well.. I like someone you know? But she doesn't like me back. " I said
"Really? Well.. She is loosing you. You shouldn't love someone who doesn't love you back. It can make you have bad burnouts. I say this cuz it happened to me. " she said
"You like someone? " I asked as I looked back at her, she nod her head "I used to.. But well.. I moved on. " said Jinnie
"I just want her to let me in her heart. " I suddenly said
Jinnie looked down for a moment thinking
"Maybe try to conquer her with anything.. Love letters? Nah.. Sounds cliche. Or umm, invite her to some date or something. "
Ima do the cliche thingy.. I know she likes that but she doesn't know the taste of the girl who is her.
Your POV
I kinda felt down when he said he likes a girl. After all I have to accept it. It's not that I have feelings that would be crazy but it's that I'm just used to just us 2. Only the 2 of us..
Damn...
I don't like him.. That's impossible HAHAH what the hell am I thinking.
Niki POV
"Yah.. Let's go now or they will kill us.. What about we say you have to go and there was an emergency I got and I had to go.. And we just go to my house? " I asked
Jinnie nod her head, I extended my hand at her to her grab mine, I had a smile on my face when she accepted.
She is so cute oml I love her.
An hour later
"I can't believe they belived us LMAOOOO" I said jumping up and down
"ikr!! Now was go before they see us. " said Jinnie
We ran to my house, it's not too far away from the school so it wasn't that much of a deal.
We went straight to my room and Jinnie jumped to my bed as she was tired, I sat beside her and grinned, I walked to the kitchen and brought her fresh water.
"Thank you Niki" sighed Jinnie, I was about to go to my desk to not disturb her but I felt how she softly placed her hands on my waist and pulled me towards her. IS SHE BACK HUGGING ME?!! AHHHH I am basically dead by now. I felt like if I had a fever.
My body started heating up because of her. I couldn't do anything to stop it. Even if she pulled away my body would still burn.
"Thank you for being my friend" said Jinnie, I felt her smile growing when I grabbed her hand and caressed it.
I gently grabbed her hands and removed them from my waist to look at her.
Suddenly I felt like crying
"I don't want to loose you. " I started tearing up what's wrong with me?!
I guess I can't accept the fact Jinnie doesn't like me.
I placed my head on her shoulder and sobbed
I felt how Jinnie played with my hair to calm me down.
"You won't loose me Niki-ah.. " she said, I felt like kissing her, I didn't hesitate to at least give her a peck at her soft cheeks.
It wasn't just a peck, it was like a lot of pecks I just couldn't stop. But she didn't mind. If she was uncomfortable she would have said something. Then I stopped for a moment and stared at her
She looked at me and gently whiped my tears away. She had a small warm smile on her face wh9ch made me feel better.
I felt my phone beeped so our 'cliche' or idk what to call it moment stopped. It was Sunoo
"That's Sunoo.. " I said, "answer him it's okay" said Jinnie "get some rest. Sleep, you look tired. " I said, Jinnie nodded and slept for a while
Some minutes later
I was trying to make a love letter to Jinnie.. But I don't know what to write. I don't want to be clingy or creepy.
Then and idea came you my mind.
Open your heart like a window. I've finally found my nemo. My heart likes you. I'll be your boyfriend. I'll give you my love. Probably I may hurt you. But I would never mean such thing. Your world is perfect alone. But don't push me, perhaps you want to accept my feelings. ♡
