Spirit's Rising

(Xavier's P.O.V)

I opened my eyes, 'What just happened? Where are we?'

"Xavier?" I heard Jewels ask, I looked at her, "Are you okay?"

"Yeah..., I'm fine honey...," I rubbed my eyes, "Where's Roger?"

"Xavier..., I think we're dead...," Jewels sobbed, "I told him we'd be right back."

I hugged her tightly, "You didn't know this would happen...,"

"Excuse me, are you two new?" An Ocelot walked towards us.

"Who the hell are you!?" I growled.

"Whoa, whoa! Calm down man!" He backed away with his hands in front of him, "I'm a good guy! The names Ryan and I help new arrivals cross over to the Spirit Realm."

"Forget it pal, not interested!" I snapped, Jewels grabbed my hand and shook her head frantically.

"Are you sure? Otherwise-" Ryan continued.

"BEAT IT, PUNK!" I summoned a throwing knife and threw it at him. Ryan vanished before it hit him.

"You shouldn't have done that...," Jewels sighed.

"He was getting on my nerves...," I muttered.

(Six years later)

I was sleeping when Jewels shook me awake, "Honey! Wake up!"

"What's it-?" I blinked, " What's wrong?"

"There's three hedgehogs that came out of nowhere!" She looked slightly frightened, I summoned a blade even though I knew they were probably dead as well.

We walked towards the new arrivals- they were already talking to Ryan and the light-brownish grey hedgehog hugged the Ocelot, "I'm so sorry that you died because of me, Ryan!"

"It's okay, Alex..., it wasn't your fault it happened. How did the King and Queen die?" Ryan questioned.

"Alstreal and Larvac betrayed them and kidnapped Sara," The hedgehog- Alex I think repiled.

"Shit of Saints," Ryan swore, "He tried kidnapping Princess Sara? How's Roger and Tailset?"

I threw the knife, "Don't speak of my son!" I screamed.

The purple male hedgehog summoned a Chaos Spear, "Back down Fox...,"

The Orange female hedgehog clenched her fists, "Gideon..., don't do anything rash, please."

Ryan glared at me, "Ignore him..., he's like this all the time," he looked back at the Hedgehogs, "You ready to head to the Spirit Realm?"

"Yes, come on Alexzander...," Gideon told the light-brownish grey hedgehog. Alexzander looked at me for a few seconds before nodding. The three hedgehogs and Ryan vanished from thin air, I spat before heading back to my wife.

"You really need to stop that," She told me.

"What can I say? Old habits are hard to break," I joked with a slight laugh.

Jewels smiled, "This is why I love you," and came up to hug me.

"I love you too," I replied and hugged back.

(End P.O.V)

Linda, Gideon, Alexzander, and Ryan arrived in the Spirit Realm and were greeted by Guards that died before them and others from the past.

"Hello Luck, Gary, Erin, Stella, Alan, Faye, and Fink!" Ryan greeted a few of the others and turned to Alexzander. "These Mobians are from the past other than Faye and Fink who are Hope's parents- or Tailset's since Roger changed her name."

"It's nice to meet you Alexzander!" Faye gave a closed eyed smile.

"It's nice to meet you too," Zander replied honestly.
