Chase

I was trying to make it through the final day of the week, not being able to sit still, thinking aobut my first day of work. I was going to be working at a morgue, helping morticians. I know, I know. "You want to work with dead people?" Hell, yes! They are great listeners, and don't talk back. Okay, so maybe not the best reasoning, but I am studying to become a Medical Examiner. I guess you can say I got the "doctor gene", because Daniel wants to do anything but medical work. Same with Jannett. Daniel wants to become a famous author, and Jannett is studying to become an FBI agent. My parents really know how to make them.

I was in my last class, with only a half hour left. I was itchin' to get out of the classroom. It was pretty much a free period, so I took out my cell phone, and snapchatted Hunter, sending her a picture of me bug-eyed, with my eyebrows at the very top of my head. She responded about a minute later, with the same face.

Hunter knew I was wanting to leave school. She even texted me, starting a ten minute countdown as to when the bell would ring.

"Finally!" I said, racing out of the classroom, grabbing my keys, and heading towards my locker.

"Hey there Speedy Gonzalez" I heard Erik say, as I put books into my locker.

"No time to talk, got to go." I said smiling, and waving to him as I headed for the student parking lot.

I reached my bike, and replaced my riding gear, with all of my school crap. I slid my hair into a pony tail, and put the braid cover on, as a shadow emerged from behind me. I turnned around to see a very cocky grin.

"Hey there."

"What do you want?" I said voice rushed, and irritated. I didn't mean to be rude, but I didn't have time to show new students around right now, no matter how cute.

"Where you heading off to?" the figure answered me with a question of his own.

"Work. I have to go, sorry I can't stay and chat." I replied with a smirk on my lips. "Ciao." I said as I nodded at him, putting the motorcycle in gear, and riding off.

Who was he? He was HOT that's who he was.

My day at work was nothing I had expected, in fact, it was sort of boring. Then again, in order to keep a morgue running, you need the dead rolling in. As far as my boss Cam says, it was a slow day, and it will pick up as I gain more responsibilities. If anything, the most work I got done at work, was my homework. Hmm. I think I wouldn't mind getting both my homework done, and getting experience in, while being paid. I think this just might work.

I texted Hunter, as I was walking out to my bike, to meet me at the Frozen Yogurt place, just a few blocks away from school.

I peeled out of the driveway, not caring to put my hair into a ponytail right now. It was very hot, and I had on jeans, and boots. A little wind through my hair, will be the perfect cure. It also gives me that sexy wind blown effect. Well, it does sometimes, and as I was rolling up to a stop sign, I noticed now was not one of those times. I simply sighed. Screw it! I will comb it when I get to the Yogurt place.

As I turnned right, I noticed a familiar figure, standing in the front of a parked car, with the hood propped up, smoke everywhere. I pulled in behind the car, took of my helemet, and went to see if the person needed any assistance.

"Hey there, Sir. Do you need help with any-" I was cut off as a pair of dark brown eyes stared down into my green orbs.

"Why thank you Madame, I could really use a lift." He said giving me a smirk.

He was getting under my skin, yet I enjoyed it. Who the hell is this guy?!

I snorted, and went to the back of my bike, and handed him a helmet.
