The arranged marriage

Chapter 9 (Samuel's point of view)

Samuel went back to the library to think. He had never seen his father that angry before. The prince kept replaying the fight in his head. My uncle Harry  a ball, where I could possibly meet  Amelia. Maybe I should go? No, I can't, Father would be furious against me, even more than he already is. But, maybe if I can get help from Anthony and Adam, there's a possibility, right? 

The prince jogged to meet his brothers, he told both of them his plan for tonight and how he could possibly see his soon-to-be bride. 

-I'm in dude, they both replied. 

As the evening arrives, Samuel is already all dressed up in a very classy prince suit, but made sure to not cast to much attention to him, as he wants to not be recognized. The twins are ready to take action and have their cover up story all planned out and practiced. They both help Samuel leave the castle and bring him to the gates without being caught. Accompanied by his horse, he thanks his brothers and leaves the kingdom, on his way to meet his future wife. 

He passes by the gates of the Joy's kingdom. A beautiful and rich kingdom. He observes around him and realizes that this is nothing like his kingdom. Everybody here has a big modern house, and everyone looks very-well nourished. What will happen when she sees my kingdom... He finally sees the castle and his jaw drops. Samuel thought his castle was luxurious, but compared to this one, his is almost poor. A huge and large building appears infront of him, in almost all gold. All the open lights makes the golden seem even more bright. As he lets a guard bring his horse to the stable, he looks at the people entering the castle, to join the ball. They're all dressed like they're about to attend a coronation. Samuel fits the rich-looking look, but if he had that ball in his kingdom, it would be a whole different atmosphere. As he enters the castle, he tries to hide himself in the crowd. "Please give a warm welcome to Princess A'". A guard grabs Samuel's arm and drags him outside. "You're not on the guest list, get out". As the guard throws him outside, Samuel tries to catch a glimpse of the princess, but the doors closed before he could fully see her face. He looks down, I can't do this. I can't marry a stranger, I won't be able to. The only thing I will eb able to do, is runaway. The blue-eyed prince sighed as he got up to go get his horse. He climbs on top of his loyal animal and leaves the rich kingdom. When he goes back to his castle, which looks poor compared to the Joy's castle, he catches his brothers starring at him, visibly confused about what he was doing back so early. 

-What happened? One of them asked.

-They threw me out!

-Really? Anthony asked laughing.

-Stop it. 

-Did you at least see her? 

-No... But I saw her kingdom. Probably the richest one I've seen. 

-Damn, they both said.

Samuel continued his trajectory and went up to his bedroom, where he continued reading his history book from earlier and then went to fall asleep.
