My vision came back like a flickering light, I felt like my eyes were open but my sight was gone. A familiar wine came through ringing into my ears, getting louder as my body began to wake up, I couldn't make it out at first then I realized it was Azaria. He hadn't killed her, why? She was trying to tell me something so instead of focusing on my sight I channeled all of my energy into my ears.
"Azaria is that -," I tried to ask her if it was her before she cut me off.
"Shut up before he kills both of us. He is upstairs, he keeps coming down here waiting for you to wake up. He stands over you like a hunter who had finally caught his kill." She hissed, "I want him to come back down here and let me out of these chains so I can tear him a new one."
"What did he do to you Azaria, why is he killing everyone and keeping us?; why can't I see?", I screamed.
"Bitch!, SHUT UP BEFORE YOU GET US KILLED! GOD SOMETIMES I SWEAR-," she was cut off by a loud slam. I heard chains start rattling and then I heard her scream.
"Elijah please stop its me, Azaria, your sister. Please don't kill me I didn't tell her anything I promise. Just please, please, please don't kill me." I could tell she was fighting but how long could she last. I could tell she was weak her voice wasn't the same uptempo song, it was now a voice of despair. I heard a familiar sound, it was the sound of the blade sharpener that was located out in the barn at my house, then I realized where I was. Home.
She continued to scream and fight for what seemed to be hours and then there was a silence.
"You were a pain since birth!", Elijah scoffed. Then I heard loud thuds and what seemed to be a body being dragged across the floor. I felt an icy cold hand slowly start to move up my leg, leading towards my thigh; I could no longer hold back the tears of complete fear and worry. Then I felt a sharp pain and I let out a loud scream.
"That's one for running!", he scoffed. I knew I was bleeding because the floor around me was soaking wet. Everything was blurry now, I made out certain objects by their shapes. I saw the outline saw sharpener, the ropes, and the chains. On the table next to me there seemed to be what looked like a knife, and I know for a fact the body that was laying across from me was a dead body, Azaria's body to be exact. The more I concentrated on her stiff dead corpse the heavier the situation dawned upon me. I started to think how I could get out the situation. I looked around the room and noticed Elijah wasn't staying in one place he kept moving like he was looking for something. I felt around the floor where he had tied me up to see if there was anything near me I could use to pick the locks. Nothing, nothing at all but dumbass hay and irrelevant ass shit. I knew he had came back over to me because I felt a small cold round thing against my temple, It was the same pistol I threatened him with the day before. I took a deep breath, laid my head back and closed my eyes.
Well this is the end of me.
