Second day of Eid was pretty much like the first day but on the third day all the festive mood had switched to wedding one. That meant lots of people running around the haveli randomly, some doing work or some just...walking.
Nadia had taken up the responsibility of decorations and she was handling everything very well, except for the heat. The scorching sun was just above her head making her vision blur time to time. Deciding to take a break she walked inside the haveli only to bump hardly into someone as her vision wasn't clear.
"I am sorry I didn't see you." She said hurriedly and looked up squinting her eyes only to find an annoyed Ahad glaring her. Talk about bad timing.
"I knew you had no brain but eyes? When did you lose them?" His snarky remark made her scowl. Talk about being a jerk.
"You.." She started but suddenly a strong pain surged through her head and black flashed in front of her eyes.
Ahad was expecting a really mean reply but before she could utter a word she clutched her head and closed her eyes. If it were not him she would have fallen down very badly in unconsciousness. He had catched her on time even though he himself was shocked.
"Nadia, Nadia what happened? Nadia wakr up." He called but she wasn't responding. He looked around and found no one. Picking her up carefully she made his way towards Farha's room that was on the ground floor.
Needless to say Farha was shocked, finding them like that but didn't panic. He put Nadia on the bed and explained Farha what had happened briefly and walked out. He needed to find someone for help, Farha couldn't do much. In no time he was back with Noor who herself looked quite worried.
"It must be due to heat and exhaustion. Ahad can you bring some ice cubes and cold water." Noor said after checking Nadia. Ahad nodded and walked out.
Ahad had an idea why her state was like this and he could only feel frustrated.
It took Nadia a good ten minutes to wake up and the exhaustion was visible on her face. Noor and Farha both were at her side when she opened her eyes. They had immediately went into panicked mode and made her drink energy drink. Noor gave her a medicine which she gulped with great difficulty,all the while Farha was scolding her time to time.
