"Andrew let's go!" I hear my dad shout from downstairs as I put my shoes on and walk out my door, I turn around and scan over my room the realisation of being away from here for a year hit's me "Now or never" I whisper under my breath and close my door and head downstairs with my bags. "Any longer and we'd miss the train kid" My dad rustles my hair as I walk past him and put my bags in front of the fire while he gathers his. I quickly excuse myself to the bathroom since i won't be near one for a while and look at myself in the mirror.

Hmm not too bad, could probably do with a haircut but aw well hopefully I can make some friends in school, coming in on the third year is gonna be a weird feeling especially being home-schooled by my Dad my whole life. I finish my business and walk out to my dad holding the flu powder in his hand and pouring some into mine "After you PROFESSOR LUPIN" I tease as he walks into the fireplace and sends me a smirk "King's cross station" He states clearly and throws the ash like substance at his feet and his whole body gets engulfed in flames and then like magic he's gone. I follow suit and open my eyes to find myself in a back room at the train station and catch up to my dad walking up to the end of platform 9.
"Okay just like I've always told you, just run straight into it and you'll go through" I nod and prepare myself to charge into what seems to be a regular old brick pillar when I feel a hand on my back and as I start running my dad follows through giving me a little extra support which I was thankful for. I brace for impact but as soon as I close my eyes before we touch the brick my feet keep running and my dad pulls the back of my shirt and I open my eyes and see the Hogwarts express in all it's glory "I love magic" I say and he laughs and guides me onto the train and into a carriage
After we put our bags away we sit down across from each other and my dad does the most famous dad thing ever and goes to have a nap so I bring out my Lord of the rings book and continue reading where I had left off. Not long after the train took off I hear someone open the carriage door and I look up to see a beautiful girl and two boys behind her, she was holding a ginger cat that looked adorable "Is it alright if we come in? All the other carriages are full" She asks and I nod "Of course but I must apologise in advance of my fathers snoring" I motion to the sleeping man in front of me which gets a giggle out of her and they come in and sit down.
The girl sits next to me and the ginger boy on her other side and the boy with dark messy hair with rounded glasses sits next to my dad and as I get a good look at him I immediately recognise who he is "Your uncle James and Aunt Lily's son aren't you, Harry Potter the boy who lived" I say and stick out my hand "Andrew Lupin pleasure to meet all of you" I say but Harry seems to shocked to shake my hand so I lower it and offer it to the ginger boy who gladly excepts it "Ron Weasley" He smiles as we part hands and I turn to the girl who seemed to have been what's the word... studying me but she snaps out for it once she notices me looking at her "Hermione Granger" She says quietly probably embarrassed I caught her staring, I send her a smile and give the cat a little pet which causes her to smile a little at us.
Harry gains my attention as he asks "Did you say Uncle James and Aunt Lily?" I set my book down fully and put all my attention towards him "I did, this is gonna take some explainging......
