The Lies

Chapter 13

I stop crying and look at him, he smiles at me and I get up "I'm sorry, I don't know where that came from" I say as he stands up "don't you dare ever apologize for having a breakdown, after everything you have been through I think you deserve to not be strong from time to time" he says and hugs me, he then grabs my shampoo and squirts some into his hand and messages it into my hair, it feels good to be looked after, I rinse the shampoo out and messages my conditioner into my hair, I let it sit for five minutes as I wash my body, I use my strawberry scented body wash which smells like a strawberry milkshake, I rinse my hair and body and get out of the shower and Jack gets out after me and wraps a fluffy towel around me.

I walk into the bedroom and dry myself and put on a pretty sky blue bra and pantie set then look in my suitcase for a dress, I find the perfect knee length flowy sky blue dress and put it on, I walk back into the bathroom as Jack walks out of the bathroom and into the bedroom to get dressed, I dry my hair with a towel and just let it fall in my natural waves, I put on a little bit of mascara and a bit of lip gloss, I walk back out into the bedroom and Jack has his back to me, I clear my throat to get his attention, he turns around and his jaw drops, "close your mouth before you catch fly's" I giggle and he laughs "you look stunning baby girl" he says walking over to me, he grabs my hand and twirls me "absolutely perfect" he says and pecks my cheek.

"You look handsome babe" I tell him, he is wearing a short sleeve light blue button up shirt and a pair of denim shorts "you ready to go baby?" Jack asks me "let me just grab my phone and purse" I say walking over to the bed and gabbing them "okay lets go" I say sliding my sandals on, Jack grabs his phone, wallet and the room key, he then grabs my hand and we walk out of the room closing the door behind us, we get in the elevator and go back down to the lobby, "where is this restaurant?" I ask him "it's about five minutes away" he says leading the way, we walk, and I just smile the whole time, we get to the restaurant, and they lead us to our seats, our table has the perfect view of the beach and the beautiful sunset.

"Hi guys, my name is Matt and I will be your server tonight, what can I get you to drink?" our waiter asks "can I please get a fruit tingle cocktail" I say Matt writes it down "and I will get a coke please" Jack says "of course, I will be right back with your drinks" Matt says and walks off, I look at the menu "I think I will get the seafood platter" I say "we will share cause it is huge" jack says and we put our menus to the side "the view is absolutely beautiful" I say "I know" says Jack and I look at him "I meant the sunset Jack" I say laughing "I know but you're the only view I want to look at" jack says smiling "okay that was too cheesy" I say blushing "what do you want to do tomorrow?" Jack asks me "I want to just walk around and enjoy the sunshine" I reply.

"Here are your drinks, are guys ready to order?" Matt asks placing our drinks on the table "we will get the seafood platter please" I say, "of course is that all?" Matt asks "yes, thank you" Jack says "of course" Matt replies and walks off to put our order in, "is that all you want to do?" Jack asks me "I would stay in the room if it meant I was with you, I don't mind what we do just as long as I'm with you" I reply smiling at him, Jack grabs my hand and kisses it "of course we can, anything for you princess" Jack says.

We talk about random things until Matt brings our food out "thank you" I say and Matt smiles and walks off "this looks so good" I say and grab a prawn, "it really does" Jack agrees, we eat our food in silence, I finish eating and look back out at the view, the food was so good but I'm so full, "do you want to get dessert or do you want to get ice cream and walk on the beach?" Jack asks "definitely ice cream" I say "excuse me Matt" Jack calls out, Matt walks over "is everything alright?" he asks "can we please get the check?" I ask him "of course, I'll just go get it" he replies and walks off "I'm paying" jack says as I go to pull my money out "are you sure?" I ask him "yes, I bought you here for your birthday I'm paying for everything" he replies "okay baby" I say.

"Here is your check, I'll take these away for you" Matt says handing Jack the check, Jack puts the money on the folder and tips Matt "lets go beautiful" Jack says grabbing my hand and helping me up, we walk out of the restaurant and walk down to the beach, we stop at this cute little ice cream shop and get our ice creams, wethen walk along the beach for a good 2 hours "do you want to go back to ourroom and watch movies, its getting dark and I really don't want to be out at nighttime" I say getting a little scared "of course Princess, let's go" Jack repliesas we start walking back to our hotel, we get to our hotel and go to our room, Igo to my suit case and get out my tights and batman tank top and get out of mydress and into them.
