After our night together we stayed on the veranda, sat there, hug each other and stare at the stars. It was another sweet night given to us and I’ll be always thankful.

Watching her change her clothes in our room makes me want to ditch my mother. I tried to divert my attention through phone but I just can’t. I tightly close my eyes as I remember what we did last night. Fucking pervert.

I cleared my thoat, “I’ll just drink some water.” Because it’s normal to us. Though there are tough times, like after we make love. The temptation was hard to control.

She nodded.

Bagay ba?” tanong niya.

“Sobra. Parang ayoko nang ilabas ka.”

I saw her blush and bit her lip. No, don’t bit you lip like that because I want to bit it too.

I sighed, and calm myself. It’s my mother.

Agad ko ‘yong sinagot, “we’re on our way, mom.” I said.

“I know, son. I just want to inform you that Tori is missing, call that man he’s not picking up my calls.” I can sense her annoyance.

I laughed, “missing agad? C’mon mom, he’s not a kid, in fact he’s old.

“Just call him!” she shout on the other line.

“Fine, fine, I’ll text you after.” She ended the call.

“What the—are you serious? That’s the first time I heard that from you. Is there something wrong?” I asked.

I can sense his frustration.

Abay bigla bigla nalang nananampal. Paliwanag niya.

Humagalpak kami ng tawa. My mother is really at fault. I know why but I won’t say it to him. I bet the said investor is at their age and a female.

“Pano ‘yan? Edi hindi ka sisipot sa lunch?”

He sighed, “sisipot malamang lalo akong tatalakan no’n. Kakatapos ko lang mag bihis.”

Mas lalo akong natawa. He’s so under.

“You can ditch.
