"Caleb's POV"

Today is my first day at my "special school" as my parents like to say. Oh this isn't any normal school you attend everyday. This is a school for young hero's. My parents used to be in a famous hero league. My mom being named "sub zero woman" and my dad "speed of light" but they decided to raise me and give that life up. And what's my power? Well it's speed (like my father.) They wanted me to go to this school like they did so I guess I could give it a try , right?

~~~~~~First day of school~~~~~~

I walked to the huge school slowly, not really wanting my first class. My hair fell infront of my face covering my glasses. I heard some kids laugh at their lockers as others used their powers for no good on others. I walked into the main office where a short plump woman sat at a computer. "Um excuse me i was told to report here for my classes" I said nervously. She looked up at me with a smile. " yes you must be Caleb Williams. I will have someone show you around that has classes with you." She said smiling and called for a boy to come. A blonde boy came in smiling and stuck his hand out. " hey there I'm nick, ill help you around school till you get comfortable. Come on the bell rang let's get to class." He said a little too happy. We arrived to a lab class where kids were yelling and telling jokes. Me am nick sat down at a table while the teacher came in. "Alright class settle down. My name is Mrs. Randolf. You will learn in this class how to create super weapons and many other things. Since it is the first day I will let you guys talk until tomorrow we start working." She said sitting at her desk. Kids instantly began to talk amount each other. "So what's your superpower? I hear your the speed of light's son" nick said excitedly. I smiled and answered him. "I have speed just like my father, not too crazy about it what about you?" He spoke up quickly " mines flying and heat vision. My parents were the human laser and lady rocket." He said quickly. Man this kid could talk fast. Before I knew it, class was up. I wonder what lies ahead. Time flew by and it was lunch time. Me and Nick walked through the crowed lunchroom till I ran into someone and my food went flying and I was on the ground. I looked up and saw a boy with long black hair, piercing blue eyes and covered in a sleeveless flannel and skinny jeans with a black lip ring. Next thing I knew I was picked up by my shirt. "Watch we're your going next time before I have to burn you bad." He had said with venom in his voice letting me drop. Nick hurried to me quickly and led me to a table with his friends. "I want you to meet Sally, Elijah, Andrea, David, and Amy." He said pointing to everyone as they waved. I smiled and waved back." Sally is a shape shifter, Elijah creates ice, Andrea can turn invisible, and David and Amy have super strength." I smiles at them all. I asked Nick who that kid was and he looked mad. "His name is Justin Collins. His parents are the super villain flame head and his mother is Miss Elastic. His father isn't a villain anymore, but he can control fire like his dad and has a bad temper on him. You may want to stay clear from him." He warned while stuffing the chicken sandwich in his mouth. I couldn't help but think about his eyes and his strong arms. Wait I can't fall for him! He just picked me up and said he would hurt me. But it could be possible that I could, isn't it?
