It was Monday and Max invited El to a sleepover. Max waited and waited, and then she thought El was lying, and that she wouldn't come.
El: Mike, I'm going to Max's sleepover now. By-
Mike: No, El.. can you just stay for a bit? Like I'm worried about you getting hurt.
El: I won't get hurt, I promise.
Mike: Just stay please.
El: Fine, only until 5:54.
Mike: Okay.
Mike and El spent time making out and having fun. But El felt weird. She felt like she lost feelings for Mike. Then, she left and rode a bike to Max's house.
Max: Hi, El!
El: Hi, Max!
El: So-
Max: No worries, I prepared you eggos! You don't need to apologize, silly.
El: Oh thank you Max!
Max: Wanna go to the movies?
El: Only for you, of course.
Max: Cmon, let's go!
El: What about the other-
Max: Don't worry, El. Just us.
Max: I mean.. Only for you.
[They both chuckle]
At the theater
Max: Popcorn?
El: Sure. Two of them please.
Max: Alrighty!
After buying popcorn
El: Thank, Max! But, are you sure we are safe here? There's too many people.
Max: Yes, we are safe! Remember? We make our own rules.
El: Haha, yes. We make our own rules.
She grins while heading to the theater
El holds Max's hand tight, and hugs her. The movie was scary. But Max.. had a strange feeling. She blushed a bit. It's like she had butterflies in her stomach. But she knows Lucas likes her. But she didn't know if she likes Eleven.
A hour later.
El tries not to blush while hugging Max. She watches the movie scared. She had a feeling of love, strong love. She really didn't know this would become a love story. She grabbed Max's hand, hearing the screams of people in the movie. She holds even tighter.
Max: El, wanna get more popcorn? I'm still hungry.
El: Can you just stay..?
Max: Why?
El: Max.. I'm really scared.
Max: Don't worry El. It's okay.
Max: Holy shit.
El: Max, I don't like this!!
Max: El, you have powers. Remember? You can defeat the bad guys!
El: Okay!
The "friends" continue watching the movie. El was still scared but acted like she was over it cause she's the one with powers. Max still thought about Lucas, knowing that he would be sad when she told him the truth. She thought of some words on how to tell him.
Max: Lucas, I'm really sorry. But I like El. Can we just be friends? No, Max, that one was stupid. Lucas, I like El. We can just be friends I guess. Eh, nope. Lucas, I'm sorry but I like El. We can still be BEST fri-
El: Max?
Max: Sorry!
Three hours later.
The movie ended a hour later. They left and then Max had an idea. Before she told El, she held her hand not wanting to let go. She looked at her like she found the love of her life. Then she spoke.
Max: Wanna go spy on the boys?
El: Sure, but won't they be ma-
Max: I'm sure they won't!
El: Okay. What if they find out that I have feelings for her? Mike would be really mad. I'm a girl, and she is too. What is wrong with me? Is this even legal? I hope the boys don't get that mad. If they do, well, I don't know.
Max shakes El.
Max: El? El? El!!
El: Sorry. I was daydreaming. How do I tell her my secret?
Max: Are you red?
El: N-no! Stop Max..
Max: Okay, but only because you said so. I would never shut up if you were Mike or any of the boys. Well, of course not to Lucas either.
El: She likes Lucas. I'm really scared if she find out that I like her. What if she yells at me saying, "Girls date boys, El!!".
Max: El, is there something wr-
El: NOPE, not at all! Let's go spy on the boys.
