Three days no crime, three days no mystery, three days no job, three days no John, three days of complete utter boredom

After contemplating for about two hours, the consultant detective finally decided to leave his apartment room, under the pretext of wanting to buy some cigarettes from his depleted supply.

His landlady, Miss Hudson, warned him not to "Stir up trouble out of boredom you oaf! John isn't around to clean up after you" hands on her hips and a disapproving scowl... No doubt still ticked off because he hasn't paid rent yet

He just flashed her a charming grin, which had zero effects on the young woman.

He could feel the sun stinging his skin, which was wrapped in a disheveled shirt without his coat. Characteristics of a distinctive dress shirt that looks untidy but has its charm.

Either the world was starting to get weird or the tastes of the people around it being too unique.

"I wonder what Liam is doing now?" He asked himself aloud.

His mind now drifted to a slender figured young man with golden hair that was so smooth as he stroked it, shining ruby red eyes and a fair complexion. A very real masterpiece he could not deny that he could enjoy to his heart's content. God's best sculpture would look pathetic when compared to him who was too amazing to describe in words.

His William James Moriarty, the epitome of perfection

Or maybe he's bias because he's in love? Oh who cares anyway

The navy blue haired man lit the second cigarette while sitting near the platform he was going to ride on in a moment. Luckily he left on time so he didn't have to wait too long in this crowd. Even so, to put his mind at ease, he kept imagining the person he was addressing.

He imagined Liam sitting by his side, listening attentively to him telling about a case he solved, a polite smile on his handsome face. Occasionally he would chime in for a retort or an expression but nevertheless would just allow him to continue his tale.

"John was right... If we fall we wouldn't even want to use the damned stairs to climb back up, not if the person we had fallen for is down there with us" he blew out a smoke.

The mischievous grin grew wider on his handsome, mature face. The charisma that he offers amazingly made several glances fully focused on him, which he ignored entirely. The only glances he expected were to come from the one individual who happened to be his goal.

"Catch me if you can Mr. Holmes" he had said to him on that day on the train

It would be a lie if any human being was not struck with such a sentence. Remembering him now was equivalent to risking his sanity.

And it will not be him, Sherlock Holmes, the greater detective in London, who will be losing before getting he desires

He'll just lock him up until he begs to be released. Although he cannot guarantee he'll be satisfied just once, he may want to keep Liam forever.

Sherlock swore he was getting a little crazy with a grin on his face

Many people were around him, but the silence continued to tickle the edges of his heart.

He was surrounded by the things he liked, the students, the mathematical formulas, the gentle breeze blowing from the large window beside him, a room he used to live in and usually managed to calm his restless heart.

But now something was wrong with his body

The blonde man looked out the window, red eyes searching for something--or someone.
