~Delilah~
"Bye, see you tonight!" I shouted to Tonio as I climbed up the ladder to the window with shopping bags with clothes and shoes in my arms. I rolled my eyes as I tried to open the window. "I told Auggie to make sure it's always open," I groaned.
I knocked on it for a minute before giving up, Cory, Riley, and Topanga were too busy fighting to notice, so smashed a flower pot through the window to open it. I expertly reached my arm through the hole to unlock the window before letting myself in. "Haha, suckers," I laughed before turning to greet my horrified family, with a neutral face, "Your window's broken, just wanted to let you know."
I turned and walked towards my room. "You're grounded!" Topanga yelled. "Not your decision!" I called back. "See Riley, now that is a real bad influence," I heard Cory say. I chuckled as I changed into something nice, it's my best friends birthday party afterall. "That little shit broke our window," Topanga complained. "And I'd do it again," I informed her as I grabbed the cookies from the kitchen. "I just baked those!" Topanga grumbled. I bit into a cookie with a shrug, "Hmm, needs less salt," I said walking back to my room.
After changing and getting fully ready, I walked towards the front door to leave for the party when Cory and Topanga blocked me. I sighed in mock defeat. "Window it is," I said turning towards my room. "Get back here!" Topanga yelled. I slammed the door in her face and popped my window open.

I finally left Fiesta Eterna at 10 and all of my friends and I went to my house. "You know it's never too late to go to Missy's," I told them, "her bedroom's the size of my apartment." Chastity smirked, "Missy's parents don't get annoyed when we come over, and pulling pranks on Estella isn't the same as pulling pranks on Riley," she said.
I sighed, it's true, Riley is more fun to pull pranks on. Estella Bradford is Missy's six year old sister. She's cute, sweet, and one of the most adorable kids in the whole world. She doesn't deserve to be pranked relentlessly and we always feel bad when we prank her. Riley, on the other hand, is my annoying older sister and who acts like a five year old. I love pranking her.
"Up we go," I said as I climb up the ladder, they followed. I saw something from my window, Auggie was crying. "I'll go check on him," I told my friends who nodded. "What's wrong Bubba?" I asked. "Riley's being mean," he said. "What'd she do? Where's Cory and Topanga?" I asked. "Mommy and Daddy are having date night, and Riley was s'posed to be my babysitter, but she left me to watch tv with Maya," he explained.
I sighed sitting on his bed. I used to feel the same way he did when I was younger. Only difference was I had no one to comfort me. I looked around his room to see the set up and the banner on the floor. "What's all this?" I asked. "Riley and I were gonna play pirates, it was s'posed to be a surprise," he frowned. I hung the banner back up. "You know, I know a couple pirates myself, and they've infiltrated my bedroom," I said with the best serious voice I could muster. "Enemy pirates in our turf?!" Auggie asked, "let's make them walk the plank!" I smirked, "Aye aye, captain!" I called.
I rushed to get my friends to force them to play pirates with me. "You're lucky we like Auggie," Missy said. I nodded, "I know, but what was I supposed to do?" I asked. Once we all got there we played pirates for a little bit, but Auggie was still upset. "I wish Riley were here too," he said, "I never get to hang out with her." I nodded my agreement, I can't be mad at him because I know how that feels.
Auggie took Mr. Googly to the couch and I sighed. "Sorry I ruined your birthday with this, Chass," I apologized. "Are you kidding?" She asked, "I had the best birthday party of my life, you got my parents to actually come and not fight, my sister was actually bearable for once, and Watts fell into the mashed potato pit," she explained, "This birthday was amazing!" I smiled hugging her. "You're an amazing friend Lilah, now go be an amazing sister," Missy said. I nodded and went after Auggie. "See you at school," I told them. They nodded and left.

"Hey kiddo," I said coming to sit on the couch. "Hi Lilah, meet our new sister," Auggie said. I laughed. "Auggie, I don't need another sister, I don't even like the one I have now," I explained. "Me neither, why don't you like her?" He asked. "She's annoying, always has to have her way, always dumping her problems on everyone without even considering anyone else, and she's rude, and nosy, and bossy, and inconsiderate, plus her crush on Lucas is annoying," I listed. "She likes your boyfriend?!" Auggie asked. "Yes, but shhhh!" I told him, "I don't want to cause any trouble with this."
I sighed looking down at my crying brother. "Look, I know Riley has this tendency to be in own her own little world and forget all about us, but like it or not she's still our sister, and good siblings forgive they're siblings no matter how bad they get," I told him. "So do you forgive her?" Auggie asked. "I will," I told him, "when she gives a real apology." "So when can I forgive her?" He asked. "As soon as she asks for it," I told him, "and means it."
"How do I know when that is?" He asked. "You just will," I said cryptically. "But what if I don't?" He asked. "Then just wait until you know," I told him, "I hold grudges all the time, it's good for the soul." He looked at me in awe. "Is it really?" He gasped. "Yea, kid," I answered with a laugh. "You're a good sissy, why can't Riley be like you?" Auggie asked leaning his head on my shoulder. "Because there's only one of me, just like there's only one you, and one Riley," I told him. "And Mommy and Daddy," Auggie added.
I nodded trying to hide my distaste for my parents. Auggie should love his parents, they're his and they love him. I'm not going to take that away from him just because I had a bad experience. I saw Riley creeping in and I sighed. "I think someone's here to talk to you," I told my brother. "What about you?" He asked. I shrugged. "I'm gonna go watch some TV, you guys have Riley time," I told him.

I walked out of my room the next morning to find Cory making eggs. He silently hands me a plate and I took it. Guess he's in a good mood today. "Smells good," Maya said coming down the stairs. "What are we having?" Riley asked. "Cory's Breakfast Special: Scrambled Eggs," he told them. I laughed at the look on Riley's face as I ate. Riley explained the McScrambleface's and I rolled my eyes.
"You got Lilah McScrambleface," Riley told me. I looked up, shocked I was included in this bit. "She's a bit of a troubled kid, but she's always there for you," Riley continued. "Thanks," I said handing Cory my plate. "Out for pancakes?" He suggested. "Yay!" Everyone cheered. We ran towards the door and for once it was like a normal family, but nothing lasts forever.
