Billions of beings of every species made the Outer Rim planet their home, though it was the homeworld of the short-lived, avian Devlikk species. And while it shared many similarities with the capital world of the Galactic Republic, many differences made Gaia prefer it — the main difference being that there was still vegetation and an ocean covering the planet.
