The sun is setting down in what seems like a perfect afternoon.
Then it happend.
Fire and dust everywhere, making it a struggle to breathe.
There was a dragon.
It's scales glimmering with the light of the fire as it unleashed it's blazing fury. I was traumatized. Only eight years and witnessing something someone of thousand years wouldn't have too. So many people dying right I front of me. I was practically paralyzed with fear, wanting to run but instead staring into the dark, empty void in the dragon's eyes. I couldn't look any where else. Until I saw him.
I only saw his silhouette but the man still brought me and the village hope.
He stood in only the tallest of building and looked straight into beasts eyes. He had the most worthy of bows pointing it straight at the dragon. He carried one single arrow, no more than one
He grabbed the arrow placed it on the bow, pulled back on his bow and released it.
In a second the arrow flew through the air so fast it made a loud whistling noise. The arrow white against the sun making it so bright the whole village turned to look. Everyone witnessed the action. The arrow speeding up soon stopped penetrating the dragon. Ending his rage.
This man was my hero.
