Ash woke up due to alarm and he was a early waker on his previous life so he was able to wake up due to that fact so he went to bath along with his new partner pichu to get ready for the day.

Oak: welcome children to the Pokemon summer camp my name is Samuel oak an Pokemon researcher I will help you to interact with this marvelous companions known an as Pokémon's.
Oak explained basic details about Pokemon and their type and varieties, natures , types and habitant.
Ash and pichu listened to his speech while other children noticed the pichu over the shoulder of our hero.
Oak: now I will arrange a Pokemon field hunt you are going to search for them and bring them to us this hunt will help you to feel more connected towards this wonderful creatures.
Oak distributed some cards to the children with details about what Pokemon they need to search all the children started to look for the respective Pokémon's on their card.
Ash saw how timidly serena took the card and started to look for the Pokemon ash and pichu went to search for the Pokemon mentioned on their card and have a eye on the honey blonde and brunet ones.

Serena Yvonne is the daughter of the famous Rhyhorn rider grace Yvonne from kalos region came to summer vacation to kanto region and they come to know about this for camp for aspiring trainers and teenagers so her mother brought her she was very timid in nature and doesn't have much friends apart from shauna.
