Summer's over and as expected school's right around the corner. As the sun shined on my face through the blinds, our first day has begun to start. Walking out my room I cross paths with Tenma, who already looks flawless so early in the morning. "Woah, when do you get the time to do all that?" I say scanning him as he fixed the watch on his wrist. Tenma, my younger cousin has always had the habit of waking up early. He's kind of a perfectionist if you ask me.
"By waking up early perhaps? Something you could never do, unfortunately." He scoffed as he walked off to the kitchen.
Walking in the kitchen we're greeted by Lance, Tenma's older brother, in his apron making us breakfast. "Grab a plate and start eating you two, I'll get ready so that I drop you off." He said taking his apron off before leaving.
Time skipped by, we readied ourselves and headed out the door. With the windows rolled down, The Smiths' album playing, our first day was sure starting off wonderfully so far. Soon enough Lance parked the car in front of the school gate.
"I certainly did not miss this place" sighed Tenma before leaving the car.
"Cheer up maybe some new babes might be joining this year" I elbowed him but he just rolled his eyes.
"School isn't about the babes Sabrina, just do your best and be good alright?" Asked Lance from the window. The father figure in him was showing quite well.
"You know we'll be good, Lance you don't have to worry right, T?-" I looked back to Tenma only to find him already walking away.
With that I starting rushing behind him while looking back at Lance. "We'll be good, I promise, bye Lance!" I waved as I rushed in behind Tenma.
First day of senior year, here comes the one and only, Sabrina Flores!
