Sirrenity's Birthday

It was Sirrenity's 14th birthday but she didn't expect any "special treatment" from her friends or her father. Her father was always at work making the money that they needed to keep the house and her friends always took her out for food, it was the same every year.

"Dad I'm going out with my friends tonight ,if you don't mind!" Sirrenity yelled from her bedroom on the second floor.

"That's fine with my just don't come home yelling at me." Her father yelled from the kitchen down stairs.
Sirrenity ran down the stairs and hugged her father. "I won't, don't worry" she said quietly and took off towards the front door.

Sirrenity ran outside and got into her friends car.

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY SIRRENITY! ~" everyone screamed in excitement.
She laughed "thanks guys!" Sirrenity said as she bucked in her seat belt.

"You guys ready to do something fun?!" Asked Monique, Katie's mother.

"Yeah!" Everyone but Sirrenity yelled.
Katie's mother drove off and Sirrenity looked at the time. It was only 4:30 p.m. and she did nothing but look out the window as they drove. Sirrenity saw something out the window that had caught her eye.

"Stop the car!!" Sirrenity yelled.
The car came to a stop and she got out of the car. There was a huge bare Field nothing but grass and then there was the woods. Something bright red and small let out a light that made Sirrenity want to follow them.

" Sirrenity...Whats wrong..?" Asked Katie.

Sirrenity suddenly ran off towards the butterflies and Katie suddenly got scared and ran after Sirrenity. Sirrenity saw that the butterflies were going further into the woods so she ran faster.

Katie's asthma kicked in and she fell to the ground panicking about Sirrenity and struggling to get her inhaler as Sirrenity ran further and further in to the woods.

"WAIT, SIRRENITY!!" Yelled Monique said as she helped Katie with her inhaler.

Sirrenity couldn't hear or see anything but the butterflies and the small flap of their wings so she kept running and tried to catch up to the butterflies. Suddenly sirrentin here was a small bump of the ground and she tripped scrapping her arm on the twigs that were on the ground. Sirrenity looked around, but couldn't find the butterflies but she found under the bump she had tripped on was a small kitchen knife, kinda like it was hidden from someone. Sirrenity heard rustling in the bushes beside her so she grabbed the knife quickly and got up.

"Who's there?!" Sirrenity asked in a scared tone.

Nothing but more rustling was heard and then came out a small rabbit. It did nothing but look at her and then ran away quickly.

Sirrenity put the knife in her pocket in a way it wasn't to poke or jab her while she ran or walked. Sirrenity walked down the path and as she went deeper into the woods she forgot the time but didn't care, she also forgot that it was her birthday and she was supposed to be with her friends, not alone.
