This week has been great. My girlfriend is now my fiance, I just got a big raise. Life literally could not get any better. "Ahhh!" Everyone moves. What is happening? I look up. A piano is falling from the sky. Right above me! I got to... crash. "Oh my god is he alive?" Some ladies yelled.

I wake up to complete darkness. "What happened! Where am I?" "You are great beyond". "Who's there?" "It is me. The Grim Reaper." "No! No! No! I Cannot die. My life was just starting to get good." "I'm sorry my friend but that is life. Now grab my hand and come with me to the waiting room where we will decide your fate." "No, please let me live." "Grab my hand!" "NO!" "Yes!" "NO!" "Yes!" "NO!"

"Oh come on dude just cooperate with me I'm having a tough day." A girl's voice said. "Ahh, who said that?" The Grim reaper pulls down their hood. Instead of bones there was a teenage girl.

"I bet you are confused. So let me explain." I nod. I am very confused. "Now You probably think death is a skeleton but guess what only the big guns get the grim reaper everyone else gets one of us millions of helpers."

"What? So you are saying I am a nobody." "Yes buddy you are no one compared to Betty White." "Why can't he just do it?" I ask. "Do you think that one person can bring everyone that is dying in the world to the waiting place." "Ye- "no because there are like 7 billion of you and 150,000 die a day!"

"Waiting Place? I am confused? You just don't take me to hell for heaven." I say. "No, that would take too long so we just take you to the Waiting Place where the people there will look over your life and decide your fate."

"Also you keep saying people but you are all dead. Were you once alive?""You're pretty smart for nobody." She is mean! "You know I can hear your thoughts." "Oh sorry." "It's ok."" Will they be able to hear my thoughts in the waiting palace?" I asked. "Nope." She says. "It is just that we are somewhere and nowhere at the same time so things work differently here."

"Now where was I? Oh yes. Everyone who is a helper or works in the afterlife was once living. But as you will see most if not all are kids." "Why?" I ask. "I am getting there." She says. "The thing is we all lived very bad short lives but God did not feel like sending a kid to hell for a bad short life was fair. So he just made all of us work for death."

"Hmm, that makes sense. How did you die?" I asked. "I was afraid you were going to ask that. I died at 15 and for most of my life I sold and did drugs." "Oh wow, I was not expecting that." "Ya most people that ask don't." But why did you do it? I ask. "My family was poor and it was good money. And one day a deal went bad and the guy shot me in the chest. I died on the spot."

"Wow, that's a lot. You were so young. How long ago was it?" Time passed slowler here than on earth. So I don't know. But if I had to guess. About 10 years ago. But again I am not completely sure." "What is your name?" I asked. "I don't remember. I think it was something like Lila. "What do you mean you don't remember?" "Well after a while here you tend to forget things for when you are living." "That's awful." "It is. I don't want to forget my friends and family but sometimes I do."

"What do you mean by we are somewhere and nowhere at the same time?" I asked. "It's very complete but I will try to explain. So basically we are somewhere between the earth and the after life. darkness. But where everyone does not cause a problem go to the waiting place. Well some call it the waiting place. Other the judgment place. I prefer the first one."

After a few moments of silence she speaks. "I really should get you to the waiting place, I am really behind now." "And I don't want to get in trouble so-" "Okay, I am ready to go now." I say. She smiles and puts her hood back on. Then she reaches out her hand and I take it. A flash of white light and now I am in an all white endlssroom. I look around for Lila, but she is gone.

There are white chairs all around the room with lots of different people sitting in them. Then there is a teenage boy at a white desk. I go up to him. At first he doesn't see me. "Hello"-- "I will call your name when the counsel is done judging your life. While you wait please sit quietly in one of the many chairs."

I walk over to a white chair near the desk. And wait. How long will this take? Then I noticed that there were two big doors behind him. One that is white with a halo over it and laughter and singing come from it. Heaven. And next to it is a red door with devil horns above it with screams of pain and agony coming from it. Hell.

After a while the boy stands up, he has some paper in his hands. "Alex smith." An old man stood up and walked over to the desk. "The council has decided heaven for you." The white door opens and bright light emits with angelic singing coming from it and then stairs appear. The man's steps onto the stairs with no thinking. Then they start to move like an eclair up to the door. Once the man is inside the door, it closes.

"Wow I hope I get into heaven."' I whisper to myself. Then the boy sat back down. But it's not long before he stands back up. "Lucy Gal." A woman that looks about 35 stands up and walks over to the desk confidently. "Let me guess heaven," she says to the boy. "The council has decided hell for you." She gasps. "That must be a mistake!" She says angrily.

"The council never makes a mistake, mam. Now please go." The boy said without even looking up. He points to the red door and it opens. Fire and screaming come for the door. The room suddenly gets very hot. Then stairs made of fire appear. "I will not go!" She yells. The boy rolls his eyes. "Fine if you don't go I will just have to make you." He grabbed the lady. What are you doing!" She yells. "Putting you where you belong." Lucy fights back but then the boy shoves her onto the stairs.

"This must be a mistake!" She says again. As she moves close to the door. "I do not belong here. This is not the last"-the door closed on her. I laugh, totally Karen. The boy sighs and sits back down. I start to get nervous. Where will I go?

After a long time the boy stood up again. Do I want him to call my name? I am not really sure. "Jayden Dime." That's me. I stand up and walked very slowly over to him. I am so nervous my legs are barely working. Once I get to the desk I notice that it is very big with papers and pens all over the place. Then the boy opens his mouth. I gulp. He smiles. "The council has decided to send you to heaven." I sigh with relief.

The white door opens and the stairs appear. Before I step on to the stairs I look at the boy. He smiles and nods. "Whenever you are ready sir, heaven is waiting for you." I take one last breath and step onto the stairs. I will miss my family but I did live a good life. As I get close to the door the singing gets louder. I look back at the boy and start to sit back down. Then I am encased in a ray of light. Then I hear the door closed behind me.

"Welcome to heaven." a voice says from the clouds. "Since you lived a good life on earth you get to spend the rest of eternity up here with the rest of the good people. Now if you need help locating relatives there is a desk at the front but otherwise enjoy your stay in heaven. Love God."

Then I appear on grass as soft cotton. There are trees with fruit all around. Families walk together, Smiling, laughing. Some are sitting next to some water. Wow so this is Heaven I say. I look for the desk. It is to my left and there are multiple teens sitting there ready to help you reconnect with your family.I walk over to the desk. I can't wait to see my parents and brother again. If they are here, I think they are.

As I walk over to the desk. I say to myself. "I think I will enjoy it here." With a big smile.
