The story takes place in a fantasy world. Zhongli is a God of War, outcasted by society. But he comes across a human adventurer named Ajax, who claims to be his finance and seems to be quite determined to marry the God.

The thing is, Zhongli just can't understand where and when he has met Ajax. Nor the strangers strange obsession with him and with violence. Particularly, if it's Zhongli's powers and his full strength to bring the world back to another war.

All Zhongli wants is to retire, but alas, Ajax has other plans for him.
