You had fallen asleep from the pain and tired ache your body forced on you. It killed you just to sit down, laying down you felt bruised on the thighs. You slept for a while, mostly through the day. The small window at least showed you daylight, a window you felt so used to. The man in the mask has yet to come down, which he is a human being after all, who knows he could be out doing something. Possibly dreadful, or just normal, the scales could weigh to one side or the other. You still wonder why he's chosen someone who don't even peak his interest. What is it about you that makes him so...compelling.

You couldn't hear anything upstairs which lets you know that no one can here you down here anyways. You parted your eyes to an empty lit room. The sun only calmed you for a moment only knowing it was mid evening. It helps with your sanity to see sunlight, you wish you could be at home. Your poor cat was probably hungry. The thought made you wanna cry, you wondered if you were in the paper yet. It wouldn't surprise you if they can't find you, usually cases like these can go cold. Making you almost forgotten, your pulled back into reality when a large door opens. The man with the mask enters, this time the lower half if frowning, and the upper is gone, you could see his beautiful blue eyes. They looked so sad, but so mesmerizing. He had a tray of food and a soda.

At least he's fucking feeding me you scolded in your head. He sat the tray down and looked at the floor, he was dead silent. "I..is there something wrong?..." you fearfully asked. He looked at you. Coming closer and crouching down "nothings wrong dear. Thanks for asking. I brought you something to eat, felt like you needed it." You slightly snicker to his response not out of being rude but you found it particularly humorous in eating "yea, I think i need a little protein, I don't think I can get much smaller" you boldly reply, smiling. You could tell he smiled back, his eyes squinting. He tilted his head and sat down on the floor criss cross.

"You are just such a beautiful thing. Has anyone ever told you that?" You blushed immediately, why call me beautiful "uh no, not many people do, I get compliments on other stuff but not on beauty" you weren't ugly. In fact you have been told you were beautiful but it never felt enough. You felt like you weren't anything compared to beautiful. Though it was nice he said it. You heart felt a little warm, giving Him a small smile. "You should be complemented more. You deserve it" you smiled wider and looked down, feeling bashful "thanks. I appreciate the complement" you responded, a delicate pinch in your heart knowing who he is, you could easily fall for him if he wasn't a killer.

Someone with his charm usually sweeps you off your feet, your not easy to flirt or get along with but can sometimes be a people pleaser. The man, being kind but simply genuine is so confusing to you, you don't know what to feel. "Why are you....well Never mind" you began. "No please, go on...I love to hear your voice" your continuously blushing , turning away you try to hide it "why are you being kind to me, just the other night you were a...completely different person. And I apologize for...testing your anger. But I'm just so. Confused" he sighed, it muffled under the mask. "I..can be a different person when pissed off. I shouldn't have hurt you, it only pulls you apart from me. Hell I don't know what taking you would do. I guess I..needed the company" you felt sorry for him, truly. He seemed lonely, misunderstood.

Maybe how he grew up could have effected his personal look on the world. It pains to see this is how people can turn out. You think of what to say, maybe to make him feel better. You open to speak "I..I would have loved to give you company if you'd just tried to be more...normal about it" he giggled to himself "yea. Then you'd find out what I do and run" his voice got angrier at the end, gaining a raspy rattle which made you shift on the mattress. You could feel your legs get hot from his voice, it turned you on. Why the fuck, do I feel this way. Shifting a little more awkwardly the grabber picks up on it. "Do I make you uncomfortable mrs Y/n?" You shook your head "no" he tilted his. He could see through the lie, slightly moving forward he pushed your tray out of the way just to sit closer to the mattress. Grabbing it back he places the tray near your legs "it would be best to eat" you felt your mouth water from the eggs he brought to you.

Trying not to eat like some animal you grab the eggs and slowly begin consuming them. He just sat there and watched "how did you feel yesterday night?" He randomly questioned. You weren't sure what he was signaling to making him clear up his question. "I'm talking about when I whipped you. How did it make you feel?" Your heart rate began to rise, feeling it in unmentionable spots. "Scared...i felt scared. And, and I was in pain. That's about all" he only nodded. "I see. I would be scared to, but it makes me wonder why your face and body got so warm. You cheeks were red and not the ones I hit" you felt anxious, you knew where this conversation was going and you wanted to deeply get out of it.

"Look i don't know what I felt, I was upset. I was afraid and still am. I'm confused on why you haven't just killed me yet." He went to stand. You flinched slightly and moved back "I'm not going to hit you darling." He only confirmed. "If I wanted to hit you I'd already done it, finish your food, I'll be back later" then he left you alone, feeling alone.

Sorry this chapter is a little bit shorter but I'll make sure to keep them long and try to update every night. I don't even know if I should continue, I constantly compare myself to other writers and I feel like I'm pretty shit at it. Idk we shall see
