Marcy gets up from her bed to text Anne

'Lemme look at the time'
5:40
'Oh shit! I'm gonna be late'
Anne gets ready and heads to Marcy's house to pick her up

Anne arrives and knocks on the door
Mrs. Wu answers the door
'Oh anne welcome! let me call Marcy down.'
'Marcy get down here! Your friend is here!'
'One sec!'
Marcy answers back

Marcy runs down the stairs praying she won't trip.
'Sorry anne, I forgot about us hanging out.'
'No big deal dude! Now come on let's go'

They arrive at the park
'Wanna play truth or dare?'
'Sure'
'You can go first'
Marcy was nervous to ask if Anne had a crush.
'Okay, truth or dare?'
'Truth"
'Do you have a crush?'
It was silent for a few seconds
'Earth to Anne'
'Sorry I just spaced out'
'You okay? You never space out'
'Yeah I'm fine. What was the question again?'
'Do you have a crush?'
'Uhhhh. Yes and no'
'Who is it??' Marcy said surprised and nervous.
'You asked one question so I'm not answering another'
'Fine'
'Okay, truth or dare marbles'
'Truth'
'Do YOU have a crush?'
Marcy was nervous to answer.
'Hey wanna go to the ice cream shop?'
Marcy tries to avoid the question
'Come on, don't try to avoid to the question. I really wanna know'
It was silent.

'Yes I do'
'Holy shit really?'
'Is it a girl or boy?'
'I'm only answering one question'
'Fair enough'

Again, silence.

'So uh wanna go to the ice cream shop? I heard it's new.'
'Sure! I'm pretty hungry anyway.'

They walk down the street to the ice cream shop.

'Amphibiland ice cream? Cool name'
They walk in to order their ice cream

'Hey Marcy, wanna try bugs n' worms ? It looks good'
'Whatever you order I will get so, sure'

'Welcome to amphibiland ice cream! What can I get cha?'
'2 bugs n' worms please'
'2 bugs n' worms coming up!'

They wait a few minutes
'Here ya go! Enjoy'
'Thanks'

They walk out of the shop
'This looks really good'
'Let's dig in!

Anne quickly finishes as if she was a hungry dog. Mean while for Marcy, she takes it slow because she will end up dropping it.

Marcy finally finishes her icecream and throws away the plastic cup.

'So what do you want to do now?'
'Not sure, maybe imma go home.'
'It was fun hanging out with you. See you later mar-mar
'See ya!'
