Chapter 48: Revelations

Kaagad akong pumuntang salas. Mabilis kong nakita si Niell na kausap si Ethan. Agad ko siyang pinuntahan.

"Niell, where's Thallia?" tanong ko.

Napakunot naman ang kaniyang noo. "She said she received a text from you. Umuwi ka na daw kaya sumunod siya."

Shit! That wasn't me.

Tatalikod na sana ako nang pigilan ako ni Niell.

"Is there something wrong, Kira? Bakit nandito ka? Akala ko umuwi kana?" he flooded me with questions.

I removed his hand. "Nothing's wrong, Niell. Baka maling text lang ang na recieve niya. I gotta go to her."

He seems like he's not buying my reason pero di na siya nagtanong pa at binitawan na ang kamay ko.

Di na ako nagaksaya pa nang panahon at mabilis na lumabas nang headquarters. I immediately went to the parking lot to get in my car. Mabilis akong nag drive papunta sa address na sinabi sa akin.

I still can't believe that Yugen was caught. She isn't the type to be easily kidnapped like that. I know her. Despite her character and attitude, the real Yugen is a badass when it comes to fighting.

And if I say that she's strong, she really is. She's just a few steps to be a S class. Ganon siya ka galing.

Whoever took her must be someone who is stronger. Stronger than her. Its just means one thing. They are probably as strong as a S class.

Halos isang oras ang lumipas bago ako nakarating sa address na ibinigay sa akin. Mabilis akong lumabas nang kotse at naglakad papasok nang building.

By the way it looks. This must be a abandoned building. A lot of stuffs is unfinished and I don't see a single person inside.

Walang kuryente kaya wala ni isang ilaw ang bukas. Ang tanging ilaw lamang ay ang liwanag na nangagaling sa buwan.

I can barely see that far since my only light source is the light from the moon. Smart. The enemies must've planned this already.

Napalingon ako sa aking likod nang may marinig akong tunog ng takong na papalapit sa akin. Malayo siya pero nang naglakad ito ilang hakbang lang ay nakita ko na kung sino ito.

"It was nice seeing you again, Kira..." binigyan pa niya ako nang sarkastikong ngiti bago muling nawala ang expresion.

I was stunned but I keep my emotions as it is. They cannot make me shiver just because they knew who I really am.

But the question is, how did they know?

I don't recall being careless. Kung ano man ang kanilang ginawa at kung papaano nilang nalaman na ako si K ay siguradong may kasabwat ito. Lalong lalo na sa loob ng Sylvian.

Mahina itong natawa. "Oh dear, you thought we wouldn't know? How stupid of you."

Lumapit ito sa akin at hinaplos ang aking pisngi. I remained still. I wanna get this over with.

Unikutan niya ako at tinignan mula ulo hanggang paa bago huminto sa aking harapan.

"I have no idea why my son loves a girl like you. Or maybe you tricked him with your lies? Oh my poor Shaun, he doesn't even know that his beloved girl is a spy."

Seryoso ko siyang tinignan. "Where is she?"

I just wanna know that my friend is safe before I knock them all up. Sisiguraduhin kong pagsisisihan nila ito.

Bagot itong huminga. "Victoria, show her."

Napakunot ang aking noo. Isa na namang tunog nang takong ang aking narinig. Lumabas si Principal Victoria mula sa dilim at naglakad isang metro ang layo mula kay Mrs. Darshall.

I am stunned but not shocked. I've always had the suspicion that she's a ally of the Darshalls. Her being here is a confirmation.

Sumipol si Principal Victoria. "Boys..."

Sabay non aya ng paglabas nang napakaraming mga tauhan nila. Lahat nang mga ito ay nakapalibot sa buong building. There's no mistake. They're cornering me.

Pang huli ay ang dalawang lalaking hawak hawak ang aking kaibigan na siyang puno nang pasa at sugat. Nakatakip ang kaniyang bibig nang tape at naka kadena naman ang dalawa niyang mga kamay.

These motherfuckers.

Akmang pupuntahan ko sana si Yugen nang bigla akong hinarang ni Mrs. Darshall gamit ang kaniyang katawan.

"Uh oh, not so fast, spy." aniya.

"Let her go. You only want me right?" saad ko.

Ilang segundo itong di sumagot at nagpanggap pang tila nag iisip. This damn lady is getting into my nerves.

"Yeah no, it wouldn't be fun if its just you right?"

Her answer made me pissed. Akmang susuntukin ko sana siya nang may maramdaman akong kutsilyo sa aking likod. Napahinto ako.

Isang lalaki ang nasa aking likod at nakaktutok ang kaniyang kutsilyo na tila handa na akong saksakin.

"Hurt me or you'll die, K. These men..." aniya bago tinuro ang mga lalaking nakapaligid. "...You're now surrounded. Admit it now, K. You've lost."

Di ako sumagod. Walang pasintabi kong mabilis na hinablot ang kamay nang lalaking nasa aking likod at sinipa ang kaniyang braso dahilan kung bakit niya nabitawan ang hawak hawak na kutsilyo.

Mabilis ko itong kinuha at walang alinlangan itong sinaksak sa leeg. Mabilis itong natumba habang hawak hawak ang leeg nitong napupuno na nang dugo.

That made all of them alarmed. Pati si Mrs. Darshall at Principal Victoria ay tila nagulat sa aking ginawa.

I looked at both of them and smirked. "Does that count as a No?"

Bakat sa mukha ni Mrs. Darshall ang nangingiliting galit.

"All of you! Kill her!" sigaw niya.

All of the men came after me. Pero bago pa man sila nakalapit ay nakita ko pa si Yugen na umiiling sa akin. Tila sinasabi na wag kong itutuloy kung ano man ang balak kong gawin.

Sorry, Yugen. I'm not really planning to do this but they hurted you. Now they gonna need to pay for the price.

Tonight, I am no longer Kira Monteverde. I am now, K. The top assassin from the Underground Society. Messing with me means betting their life. Now that they overdid it. I'm going to kill all of them. Mercilessly.

Guess this is the end. Now that I've found out. Coming to Sylvian High is no longer in my plan. I'm gonna end this tonight.

A sudden flashback came to me. It was a nice few months in that school. Tapos na ang kasiyahan at ngayon ay kailangan ko nang harapin ang kailangan ko gagawin.

I was just distracted for these past few months but I'm now back. I know for the fact that it will not end well. Especially for him.

Now I have to do what I have to do. End this thing. Gagawin ko ang lahat para patumbahin sila. That's what my mission is for from the start.

Pero bakit sumasakit ang aking puso?

I have been feeling it for quite a while but I know this is just temporary. Mawawala din ito. I just need to focus.

Now, all I have to think of is ending this mission and be back with my family. Although I cannot assure that. Destroying the second most powerful organization in the Underground Society is most likely impossible.

Thats why, Mom, Dad, Kuya Kilton and Kuya Kidd. I'm doing this all for you. I know you all will get mad if you see me here today but I will make sure that even in my last moment, I won't dissapoint you.

I will do anything even if it means betting my life in line.
