Georgie's POV:
I sat in the uncomfortable, plastic, hospital chair as I held her hand. I knew it was a bad idea letting her join the army, but it was kind of inevitable considering she had me and Elvis for parents.
Elvis was flying in today, to see her. She's been captured by the Taliban and held hostage for the past 2 weeks. She was severely dehydrated, and she looked so pale and fragile.
I felt her hand move in mine, as I looked up. Her eyes slowly fluttered open.
"Hey- hey sweetheart" I said.
"Mum" she said quietly.
I wiped the tear that was falling down her cheek.
"Shhh" I said, "you alright, your safe- I'm here now."
The door opened and a doctor walked. He smiled sympathetically.
"How are you feeling Lily?" He asked.
"Alright" she replied, her voice hoarse.
"Right, we're going to check your obs and keep you in overnight, and if everything's find you can go home tomorrow" he said.
A couple of hours had passed and lily had fallen asleep. The door creaked open as Elvis slid through.
"Hey" I said, standing up and hugging him.
He placed a kiss on my forehead and I burst into tears.
"Hey- shhh" he said, as I buried my head into his chest.
"Sorry" I said, once I had finally managed to compose myself.
"How is she?" He asked.
"They said she could go home tomorrow" I replied.
"That's good" he said.
