MAYZ is sitting in front of her, waiting for what she'll be saying. She let out a long sigh before she opened her mouth.

"I need all the information about this certain gentleman heir." She started, staring at Mayz eyes, studying her reactions. "His name is Silvanus. I want the file on my table by tomorrow morning." She ended and lazily stood up, leaving her swivel chair.

"Masusunod, Senyorita." Magalang na sagot ni Mayz sa kaniya.

Naglakad siya patungong pinto, akmang bubuksan ang pinto nang marinig niya itong muling nagsalita.

"You have a meeting with the La Carlota Mayor at ten in the morning tomorrow, Senyorita." That made her turn around, facing Mayz. "The opening of the border will be tomorrow at one in the afternoon, and you are invited to Sortin's Mansion for dinner at seven in the evening tomorrow." Dagdag pa na pag-iimporma ni Mayz sa schedule niya bukas.

Kumunot ang kaniyang noo, "About the opening of the border. You forgot the file earlier." Aniya rito sa dalaga.

Tila nataranta naman ito sa sinabi niya. Umawang ang labi nito pansamantala bago ito natauhan. "I-I forgot to tell you that I've made two copies of the opening of the border files. I brought one of the copies in me while I was in meeting with Mr. Sortin." Wika nito sa kaniya, that explains everything.

"Oh, so the file I have is my personal copy?" Pagko-kompirma niya sa kaniyang naiisip. Tumango ito bilang sagot sa tanong niya. "Okay then." Pagtatapos niya bago ito tinalikuran para tuluyan nang lumabas ng silid na kinaroroonan nilang dalawa.

Umakyat siya sa ikalawang palapag kung saan naroroon ang kaniyang kwarto. Pinag-buksan siya ng pinto ni Mayz, pumasok naman siya at dumiretso sa banyo ng kaniyang silid.

"Dang." She hissed after she closed the door of her bathroom.

Kinatok siya sa study room ni Manang Linda kanina, pinaghanda raw siya nito ng bathtub. And here she goes, trying to drown all the negative vibes she had for today.

She tried to rest her head on the edge of the bathtub and closed her eyes to relax a bit, but she fell asleep.

MAYROONG isang lalaki na nakatalikod sa kaniyang direksyon. Nasa ilalim ito ng isang puno ng acacia. Bumaba ang kaniyang tingin sa natatangin suot nito na rugged jeans.

"He might workout a lot." She wondered, scanning through the muscles at his back to his biceps.

It seems like the man heard her, he slowly turned around to face her, and to her surprise she brought her hand in front of her mouth.

He's handsome, the kind of handsome that screams of danger as well.

'Who the hell is this man?' She asked herself.

"You're a grown woman now, My lady." A deep masculine voice said to her, and she's sure that it came from that man under the acacia tree.

Matiim ang titig nito sa kaniya dahilan upang makaramdam siya ng kakaibang kaba sa loob ng kaniyang dibdib. Tumikwas ang labi ng misteryosong lalaki, a grin was formed.

"You'll be mine as you had promised. I hope you never forget it." Sabi pa nito sa kaniya, licking the side of his bottom lip, which she finds sexy.

"SENYORITA! Senyorita!" A familiar voice blasted on her ears. That's when she opened her eyes and met Mayz's gaze.

Hinahabol niya ang kaniyang hininga. Para siyang nalulunod sa panaginip na iyon. Kinakalma naman siya ni Mayz habang inaalalayan sa pagtayo. Binalot nito ang tuwalya sa kaniyang nanginginig na katawan.
