i dodge a canonball that goes at a damned speed through the water.

i watch as the ship slowly sinks. people desperatly try to fill the holes that those balls made.

i see some people abort the ship. i wonder what-

i swim through the junk, looking for stuff what could be used.

i swim to where i see something struggle to move up. i watch behind a piece of wood.

it's a human? he... he's beautifull...

slowly his movements become weaker until everything stops. his coal black eyes close slowly and the last air escape his mouth. i rapidly swim to him and around. he's really beautifull! just look at that raven black hair! the don't have that much underwater and those muscles! amazing! i poke his side. he squirms lightly. he's firm yet soft... maybe i need to save him... but i break the rules then.... nah it's not like any mermaids or mermen are close. each of us has their own territory, only with mating season we cross ferquently. i haven't found any mate. didn't really want to. it meant i had to take on a role, submissive or ruling.

what was i.. oh yeah! i needed to save him. i grab him by his middle and swims at full speed to the surface and then towards land. the land of my territory. luckily i know a quiet beach next to the busy city.

i lay the human on the beach. i check his chest. still a pulse. then i go to his mouth.

no breath.

i begin to perform CPR

yeah i know it's weird, a mermen who knows CPR. just seen a lot of cases it has been performed, so i know the guide lines.

i stop as he coughs into my mouth and i whipe my mouth.

''I... am alive?'' i hear the human say.

i begin to wiggle my way back to the sea.

suddenly i feel a hand grabbing my tail. i begin to struggle.

i slap him with my tail and in one jump go in the water and swim away.

Sasuke POV

one thing i know i was stuggling to get to the surface. and then suddenly i'm coughing up seawater with a sweet and salty taste of my mouth.. ''I... am alive?'' i mutter unbelievable.

as i open my eyes i see a wom.... man turing his back to me and... wriggle away?! he's got a tail! what the hell! i grab his tail and feel him squirm. ''did you save me?'' i ask unbelievable at what i saw.

he stayed silent struggling in my grip and as he slaps my face i suddenly hear a voice

it hurts let go!

then in one gracefull jump he enters the water and swims away at sound speed.

was that... a merman? was what just happened real? did i actually see this?
