Chapter Fourteen (I love you)

I KEPT avoiding Eve’s attacks on me and we almost got a fight everywhere. I blocked my arms with his fists when he attacked me, I quickly threw his arm causing him to moan in pain but I just ignored and slapped his face with my elbow.

"Try to focus, Eve, walang wala ka kapag iba ang nasa loob ng utak mo." When I repeated what he said last week, I heard the unbelievable whispers of Shiena and the others. Eve stood up and almost laughed at me.

He attacked me but I bent down and quickly used the back kick cause him to cross the ring line. All the trainees applauded and shouted. I laughed as I make Eve stood up then we all entered their camp at the same time but I went straight to the river.

Two weeks since I was here and somehow natutunan kong gumamit ng espada at kung ano pa, Eve was a great teacher kaya nga mainit ang ulo ni Maxime sa kanya ngunit wala naman itong magagawa kasi marami siyang dapat gawin sa buong imperyo at hindi niya ako matuturoan, kaya si Eve ang gumagawa.

I took off the wrapped cloth in my hand and also took off the trainer's thick clothes into me and fortunately I was still wearing clothes inside. I knelt down in front of the clear water and washed my whole face and my dirty arms.

I stopped what I was doing when I saw myself in the clear water and my tied hair was also slowly coming down, I never thought I would get to this point.

Nang tumayo ako at matapos ay halos hindi ko mapigilang mapasinghap nang makita si  Susym na imiinom na naman habang nakatingin sa akin, nakahiga ito sa puno.

"Kanina ka pa?" Tanong ko at pagkatapos ay tinapon niya kung saan ang bote at tumango tango. I just ignored him and left even though he obviously wanted to say something, they said I should be careful with him especially since Susym uses women too much.

Papasok na sana ako sa tent pero nakita kong bumaba si Maxime sa kabayo, kinuha ng isa pang nagsasanay ang kabayo niya at mabilis siyang naglakad papunta sa akin.

"Maaga kang umuwi, wala bang masyadong trabaho?" Tanong ko sa kanya ngunit mahigpit niyang hinawakan ang kamay ko.

"I came home because I want to show you something." He said and pulled me into the woods, I was just wondering while looking at him and no one spoke as we walked.

It didn't take long for us to stop on a wide ground where Maxime suddenly ran into the middle and then touched the ground. I was quite stunned when I see the gradual covering of snow all around and it suddenly raining snow causing me to smile.

"Ang ganda." Sabi ko at dahan dahang lumakad papalapit sa kanya, nakatingin lamang siya sa akin habang lumalabas pa ang ibang yelo sa palad niya.

"I always look forward to the chance to see your smile because of the ice I have."

I looked at Maxime and then continued walking until I could continue to get close to him. "Kaya mo ito ipinakita sa akin?" I asked and he gave only a small nod.

I looked all around and then the light just came out and touched our faces, he can't be burned because he has medicine and I have the power to do it, he can't be hurt until I want to.

I quickly picked up the snow and threw it in his face and laughed before running, kahit na makakapal ang nyebe ay tumakbo pa rin ako palayo sa kanya habang tumatawa ng malakas.

"Run, my queen." Maxime said and then chase me, he made a snow ball and threw it at me but I quickly avoided it and continued running.

When I suddenly stumbled I immediately threw the snow ball I had made at Maxime when he approached but I was shocked when he suddenly disappeared from my sight and all around.

I quickly stood up and looked him around, shouting his name until I slowly looked up and I see him suddenly fall in front of me causing me to fall down again.

"You surprised me!" Halos naiinis kong sambit at tinulak siya ngunit mabilis niyang pinigilan ang kamay ko.

He lay on top of me and then gripped both my wrists tightly on the side of my ear. I could almost hear the loud scream of my heart and I also felt the touch of the cold air on my skin.

"My queen is beautiful." When he praised and caressed my cheek, I could see the mixed emotions in his eyes and the love that I would ever experience only with him.

I smiled and kissed his cheek then we sat in the snow, the two of us were silent as it poured more and it was still raining the less thick snow.

Simultaneously, with the glow of the snows due to my power was the release of a vein of ice that slowly climbed up to my neck and suddenly slowly faded and left a pendant already worn around my neck.

Napatingin ako sa pendat at halos hindi ko mapigilang magulat dahil ito ang pendat nakita ko sa isang book store noong unang araw ko sa pilipinas. I looked at him again with mixed astonishment, he approached me and touched the pendant.

"Love wraps it up for no matter how long so I give it to you so that no matter what happens,  no time or prophecy can change our love. Walang katagalan na pag hihintay sa iyo ang aking pagmamahal aking reyna." He said and I almost wanted to cry with joy that I didn’t know how to explain.

He approached me and quickly kissed my lip with mixed love at the above all of the snow.

"I love you."
