I felt something lightly being placed on my leg. Confused I open my eyes to see David laying in between my legs looking up at me, he kisses my inner thigh, " David" I said, going to get up but he stops me. I grab his hand trying to remove it from my hip, he only grips my hip tighter causing me to wince "Easy princess" he said, he places a kiss to my other thigh, my eyes widen as I feel his fangs glide against the skin sends shivers down my spine. My heart starting to race, " David" I said, he grabs my hands and moves up my body holding them above my head, he leans down his blue eyes piercing my brown ones. I swallow hard when his lips lightly ghost over mine, slowly he kisses from my cheek down to my neck, nipping at the skin right below my ear causing me to let out a small gasp which makes him let out a deep dark chuckle, "Princess you are in for the ride of your life" he said, nipping at the spot again causing me to whimper. David pulls back, his eyes were a darker blue "You're ours now doll " he said, he moves his leg closer to my core and brushes his knee up against it. I lets out a small moan and push my head into the pillows, not liking the feelings he was giving me. David leans down his lips right above mine, " Time to wake up princess" he said, a part of me didn't want to. David pulls away completely," Wake up".
Opening my eyes I blink a few times trying to calm my racing heart " Look who up" I roll over to see Paul laying next to me, giving him a small shove he laughs. Closing my eyes wanting to go back to sleep, I snuggle down into the pillows and blankets, the bed moves causing me to groan in annoyance "Paul knock it off" I mumble, opening my eyes to see that it wasn't Paul but Marko, I give him a small smile, " Come on, we're going to the boardwalk" he said, I let out a groan before sitting up " I have to go home, my fathers probably worried" the cave was once again dark meaning the sun had came and gone leaving Santa Carla casted into the night, so much for getting up early. Damn vampires and their sleeping schedule. Marko smirks at me and leans forward a chill runs through me due to his close proximity "Just for a little while" he said, biting the inside of my cheek I think. Im already going to be grounded, so why not. Giving him a look I sigh" I need a shirt" hearing a crash in the main part of the cave, I look at Marko with worry, we stand up and make our way into main area. I see Dwayne picking up some books, and walk around Marko heading over to him. Bending down I pick up some of the books and set them on the table, I look up at Dwayne who smirks down at me, he gives me a small nod, before helping me up. Turning around I'm met with a mesh shirt showing the chest underneath, " Paul" I said, looking up he was smiling down at me, holding up a shirt he waves it around infront of my face " Here" he said, taking the shirt he was holding out to me, I raise an eyebrow and look at it. Guns and Roses, of course. I give Paul a small smile before walking around him, "Thanks" my eyes land on David and I slow my walking, he looks at me, letting out smoke from his cigarette " You sleep okay Octavia?" He asks, I bite the inside of my cheek before nodding my head and walking back towards the bedroom area to change.
Once changed I walk back out, " Yes let's go, I'm starving" Paul said, I roll my eyes as but walk towards the exit. Suddenly I'm being picked up, " Hey girly" Paul said, I look up at him sighing, and try to get down, " Come on Paul let me go" I said, all he does is shake his head. The night air felt good, it was officially summertime in Santa Carla making the nights warm, sometimes a little muggy due to the ocean but nice none less . Paul's hold gets tighter, as he walks up the old steps. When we get to the top he still doesn't put me down, "I'm going to show you something, don't freak out" before I could ask my hair starts whipping around everywhere. Closing my eyes, my holding on Paul gets tighter not knowing what he's doing. The wind and my hair settle down a little, " Open your eyes" he said, slowly I open them. I frown not noticing anything, Paul looks down and I follow his gaze only to let out a small scream and cling to Paul tighter, causing him to let out a laugh. We were hovering in the air above water, " All of you can fly?" I ask, he nods his head. Good to know. Slow he starts to move us in circles, I turn my head looking at the water below us. Paul slowly start to move me, I tense causing him to chuckle " Chill girl, I got you" he said, I gave him a skeptical look. What if this is how they get rid of me, drop me in the harsh waves below. Paul grabs my thighs moving me so I'm upright, I hook my legs around his hips, arms still wrapped around his neck " This is pretty cool" I said, Paul smirks, and nods his head. Turning my head looking back at the cliffs, the boys were still there sitting on their motorcycles. I look back at Paul, " I thought you were hungry?" I ask, he smirks at me and lowers his head to my neck, "You offering?" He asks, the feeling of his teeth gliding against my skin causes me to tense up and pull away from him, " No" I said, he smiles shaking his head at me. The wind starts to pick up, again before dying down, Paul let's go of my thighs, I unhook my legs from around his waist, " I told you, I made a promise" he said, he lets go and walks around me. I turn around making my way towards my bike, " We're going to eat first, we'll meet you at the boardwalk" Marko said, I nod my head as I get on, tossing my hair into a pony tail, " See you guys there" I said, the boys nod their heads before taking off. I start my bike and take off, using the way I know how to get here, I wasn't about to ride through the woods, especially at night without knowing the terrain.
Parking in my usual spot I turn my bike off, and sit for a few moments just catching my breath. Reaching up I let my hair down making sure to hide the bite mark Paul gave me. Licking my lips I slowly get off and head towards the boardwalk entrance, walking under the sign I turn my head eyeing the carousel, the lines long with all ages waiting for a turn. How naive they are, not a care in the world, unknowing to the supernatural world around them, if only they knew of the danger that now lurks in the shadows of the boardwalk and town, watching and waiting to grab or lurk their prey to their death. And it's my fault. I bite the inside of my cheek, blood is now going to be on my hands since I bought the boys back. Basically a murderer. Shaking the thought from my head, my eyes land on a Chinese restaurant and I start making my way over to it, "Octavia Faith Emerson" I heard my father yell, " Shit" I turn around to see not only my father but my Uncle coming towards me. I hold up my hands as they get closer to me, " I can explain" my father roughly grabs my arm causing me to wince. Glancing around I notice some people watching us, making me feel embarrassed " Where the hell have you been?" He asks as he pulls me along beside him. I try to free my arm from his tight hold but he just grabs it tighter. Walking under the boardwalk sign, I turn my head to see my bike, trying once again to get out of his hold I fail, " I was with some friends" we walk past my bike and I start to panic. Leaning back I dig my heels down trying to get him to stop, " My bike" I said, my father stops and lets go of me, turning I start walking towards it but he stops me, " You're going with Sam, I'm taking the bike" he said, I shake my head but that doesn't stop him from reaching into my jacket pocket taking the key, "Michael-" " Shut up Sam" he snaps, he looks back at me pointing to the truck " Get in" he said, my bottom lip quivers as my eyes start to burn, nodding my head I do as he says. Getting in I slam the door hard enough to make the truck shake which earns me another glare. Sam gets in and starts up the truck, rolling down the windows. The sound of my bike causes me to frown, and the truck starts to slowly move" Where have you been O?" Sam asks, I don't answer him or even bother looking at him. I just keep my eyes focused out the window. I should of stayed at the cave.
For the past ten minutes my father has paced around infront of the couch where Sam and I sit, everything was quiet besides my fathers footsteps. I glance at Sam to see him shaking his head, " Alright Mikey stop before I get sick" he said, my father comes to a stop glaring at him before turning his glare onto me, " Where were you?" He asks, with a group of resurrected vampires hanging out in a cave. Letting out a sigh, I cross my arms, " At a friends, I told you" looking towards my uncle I quickly look away, "'What's the address?" He asks, I look back at him shocked that he would also be asking me questions, shrugging my shoulders I lean back, " Not sure, I followed behind them when we left the boardwalk. It on the north end of town" I said, looking back at my father to see him starring at me, he shakes his head sitting down in the chair, " Why did you lie about talking to your mother?" He asks, I tense up and give a small shrug of my shoulders. I didn't expect him to call her, but I won't be making that mistake again. My father sighs, " Have you been to Hudson's bluff?" Sam asks, my heart almost stops, swallowing hard l I turn my head to look at my uncle, " Nope, but I've heard of it" I said, he nods his head and looks at my father before looking back at me, I sigh before standing up, "I'm tired, I'm heading to bed" I make my way towards the stairs and start to walk up them, wanting to get to my room as fast as possible " Have you been in the field?" my father asks, freezing up I stare at the banister, I never thought he would go out there to look. What do I tell him, " Octavia" I turn around to face him, he was looking at me with worry. Licking my lips I shake my head "No, I haven't" I said, a flash of disappointment flashes in his eyes, " But I did chase after some kittens but it they didn't go into the field " I said, keeping up with the lie I told Sam. I go to turn around but stop myself, " Why, what's out in the field?" I ask already knowing, I just wanted to see if he'd say something. My father stands up and uncrosses his arms "Nothing, just wondering if you've been out there" he said, a mixture of anger and sadness runs though my veins. Running my tongue over my teeth I hum and nod my head as I turn around walking up the rest of the stairs. After tonight's events, I needed a good shower and a good rest.
