y/n watched in horror as the tentacles stabbed billy in the side. although he was abusive, both physically and mentally, she loved him. he was her brother. with tears welling in her eyes, a tentacle hit billy right in the chest.

"BILLY!" max yelled.

"NO!" y/n screamed, running to her brothers dying body, not waiting for the mind flayer to be killed.

"billy, billy. billy, please." she sobbed, tears falling from her eyes onto his blood covered tank top.

she cried as strands of her hair stuck to her face.

"billy!" max sobbed as she ran over to the siblings.

"i'm sorry." billy struggled to get out.

y/n put her hands in her messy hair as she let more tears fall out of her eyes. she let out another scream of sadness out as billy took his final breath. max cried into el as steve came running down to his best friend.

steve ran to y/n, wrapping his arms around her as she cried into his chest. he ran a hand through her hair, as she wrapped her arms around him. he rested his head on hers, tightening the hug.

"it's okay, y/n." steve whispered.

"i'm here." she cried into him as he comtorted her.
