Hey guys,

It was 6:00 in the morning, the next day when Aryan's sleep broke. He got up from the couch, and walked towards the bed where Imlie was sleeping peacefully, snoring slightly.

He chuckled softly hearing her snores.
He sat on the stool near her bed and took hold of both her hands.

He had been awake until the wee hours of the night, keeping an eye on Imlie.
She looked peaceful and serene after almost a week.

He knew she was taking too much stress about the current situation at Rathore Mansion, so he had thought of the coffee date to cheer her up. But it turned to be a disaster.

But he was happy. He could clearly see the positive changes in Imlie, in himself and in their relationship after the shooting fiasco.
After yesterday's events, he was more confident about Imlie's importance in his life. A life without her was unimaginable.

After sometime, he freshened up, took a bath and changed himself in the clothes which Arpita had sent through the driver, yesterday night.

Arpita had called him yesterday after he rushed from the house at that speed. He had informed her about the accident and also asked her not to worry as Imlie was absolutely fine.

As he exited the bathroom, he saw that Imlie was still sleeping, so he decided to meet the doctor to get an update about her health.

The doctor told him that Imlie was perfectly alright and just needed ample amount of rest, good food and a stress free environment. Also told that she will be discharged today.
Aryan assured him about taking care of her and left the doctor's cabin.

He returned to the room and saw that Imlie was awake and was doing something in her phone.

Imlie looked up from her phone when she heard the door closing, and sighed in relief after seeing Aryan. She was trying to call him because she could not find him in the room when she woke up.

"Kahan the tum?" Imlie asked him as he sat near the foot of the bed.

"I had been to the doctor to get an update about your health." Aryan said and started to press her feet softly.

Imlie closed her eyes and felt relaxed as he did that. But suddenly her eyes flew open and she pulled back her legs, away from him.

Aryan was surprised by her action.
"What happened?" He asked.

"Tum humare pati ho, aise mere pair choo nahi sakte." Imlie said, not meeting his eyes.

"Really Imlie? I can't touch your feet because I'm your husband? What nonsense is this?" He huffed in annoyance and reached for her feet.

She pulled back again and said, "This is not nonsense. Husbands are not supposed to touch their wives' legs."

"Enough Imlie! All this is bullshit. These practices are wrong. We are living in the 21st century and atleast you should not be saying all this gibberish. Moreover before being husband and wife, we were 50-50 partners, so I will do this." He explained to her and again caressed her feet.

Imlie's eyes filled with unshed tears after hearing him. She thanked her Sita Maiyya for blessing her with this gem of a person.

She wiped her tears, cleared her throat and asked him, "What did the doctor say? Can I go home?"

Aryan:- "He said that you are completely fine and you should take good amount of rest. You will be discharged today after the last check up."

Imlie hummed in response and stepped down from the bed to move towards the washroom to freshen up.
