The date was August 1st, 2022. Let's see what's happening in Negi Root City today. Akiko Morioka (Fire Flower Rin) was already awake. She was making breakfast while waiting for her brother Masaru (Fire Flower Len) to get up. She was also waiting for their friends Haruna Nakahara (Fire Flower Meiko) and Taro Taguchi (Fire Flower Kaito) to come onto Zoom. A few minutes later, Masaru came downstairs.
Fire Flower Len: Something smells good.
Fire Flower Rin: Ohayou, Masaru-san.
Fire Flower Len: Hey. They're not showing up?
Fire Flower Rin: Not yet. You can have your breakfast while we wait.
Fire Flower Len: Alright.
Masaru sat down and ate his breakfast.
Fire Flower Rin: By the way, it's our birthday today.
Fire Flower Len: Our 21st birthday.
Fire Flower Rin: Yeah.
???: Hello hello?
Akiko and Masaru went over to their computer. There were their friends.
Fire Flower Kaito: Hey, there they are!
Fire Flower Len: Hi, Haruna. Hi, Taro.
Fire Flower Meiko: Hello, you two. And happy 21st birthday.
Fire Flower Rin: Arigatou. And happy birthday to you two as well.
Fire Flower Len: Haruna's turning 25, and Taro's turning 26?
Fire Flower Kaito: You got it.
Fire Flower Meiko: We should go out and celebrate our birthdays!
Fire Flower Rin: Yeah!
And so, the four of them continued talking for a few more minutes until they all had to leave.
