Charlotte was rearranging the house a little with Claire to divert her mind a little.It was helping Claire but it wasn't helping Charlotte.
She kept wondering
Is six going to know?
Why do I think about him so much?
Is something wrong with me?
Her thoughts were snapped when she heard someone clear his throat.Claire and Charlotte both stopped and looked at Six
"I'm going for a check outside.Kindly call me if you need anything"he said looking at Charlotte.
"Alright"she simply replied and pulled her eyes away from him because they kept going towards him up and down
Not gonna lie she did think he looked good today.With a clean suit again,a white button up shirt underneath it and clean shoes.
Claire noticed the uneasiness between them,there was some tension
"Come on let's get back to work Claire"she called out.Claire nodded and went back to work
"Did you check who came to the house last night?"Firzroy spoke on the other line while Six approached back to the house with his phone on his ear
"I think you know who it was.Another one of his men Fitz" he opened the door to the house.Charlotte was standing on a chair in the living room putting books on the top shelf near the coffee table
She seemed to have earphones on and that's why she could hear him enter.Six looked up at her
"Careful"he said plainly and continued talking on the phone.
"Yes.I'll keep you updated"he said and cut the call.Six turned around to see her still stacking books up there.He saw a part of her top rising up showing her skin.
He looked away and approached her
"You might want to be careful"he said.
"Huh what-"she asked when suddenly she lost balance and fell down from the chair.But before the marble floor hit her
She fell into a strong pair of arms.Her eyes were closed expecting to collide with the ground but she felt someone's heart beat next to her.
She looked up slowly and saw him looking down at her,holding her tightly in his arms.He didn't even have to try to save her.
For a moment there they got lost in each other's eyes.It was nothing like they'd ever experienced.It was mystical
"I'm uh sorry"he replied putting her back down
"No I-uh should've been more careful"she replied clearing her throat awkwardly.Six nodded at her licking his bottom lip in awkwardness and he walked away from there
"Uhm six!"she called out to him.He stopped in his motion and turned around,putting his hands in his pockets
"Claire feels like going out somewhere today....do you think that's manageable?"Six pondered on the question for a while
"It's better for her to stay at home...it's safe here"he replied
"After last nights incident I don't think the house is safe too"she said.He let out a sigh and kept quiet for a while
"Alright"he replied and disappeared from there.Charlotte smiled a little to herself in victory of how her request won him over
Charlotte got ready quickly,wearing high waisted loose beige pants with a button up top and heels.Not too blingy and not to simple either
