We all gathered around in a little circle as James and Peter set up the bottle. Peter started grabbing the bottle from James hands,  spinning it precariously. it landed on Mary who gave a kind smile stood up and pecked peter on the lips, he blush furiously, causing all the marauders to laugh and for sirius to cat whilst.
Marlene then was the next and she landed on lily, who both giggled as they two pecked each other on the lips, this time causes a whoop to come out of sirius and james mouths. 

remus spun and landed on Leah who blushed profusely but shook her head apologetic. I get it she has just met them and he is my brother. This caused sirius to no surprise to anybody bar apparently remus, to turn to him and snog the shit out of my blushing brother. As they came apart everyone silently watched until James piped up "FINALLY" and everyone laughed. The sad thing was that i knew both of them were to drunk to really process what was happening, and would most likely go back to denial the next day.

Then it was James turn, i sat nervously watching as he clasps the bottle in his long finger and spun. the bottle seem to spin forever passing me over and over again. Until it slowed and finally stopped in front of . Lily. of course i thought to myself, why would i even hope. everybody knows they have something for it. and of course fate would bring them together. i watched with the best fake smile and laugh as they kissed. The kiss seem to last forever, a tight knout in my stomach was twisting, as they finally pulled away.

As i looked back at James his eyes were fixed on me. i couldn't, i stood up quickly avoiding his gaze and said hurriedly "im tired, you leah? i'm going to bed anyway" then i turned my attention to my brother who had slumped sideways onto leah "come on rem, get up let her go"

"but i was just getting to know your friend" he slurred, "you always have said that i should" he gave Leah a pathetic smile which she greeted with a awkward one.
"Off!"  i said more firmly

"okay, okay" he huffed lifting his arms in the air
"oh god" was the next strangled noise to come out of him as the idiot had tried to stand up causing him to fall head frist into sirius who tried his best to catch him but failed

"Okay, i think that enough now" came the voice of James,  a voice i had never heard before, one laced with care but also authority. Mum of the group now i get it.

he hurried over the pull my brother off a Welping Sirius and slung his arm over this shoulder. " i think you two have had enough,, pete will u get padfoot"

Peter hurried over obediently and with great difficulty tired to mirror what james was doing with remus. Leah apparently had got bored as i watched her hurry off to her dorm.

"Well you coming" lily said as the girl turned to head upstairs.

"umm im just going to check he's okay" i said pointing to Remus who was now being hauled up the stairs by James as he was now very close to flat out passing out.

"okay, see y'a in a bit" Mary waved

As i entered the boys dorm i hurried over to help james deposit Remus into his bed. i could hear sirius from behind me wine as peter tucked him in saying he wanted to go in "mooney's" bed. Remus looked up at me as he lay in the sheets.
Then he suddenly pulled me into a hug lifting me off the floor and causing me to crash on top of him and the bed, the he whispered "you should have kissed him"

"huh" i sprang back but he was gone passed out, dead to the world for probably the next 17 hours. Goodnight moons James said as he pulled to blanket up. i smiled yeah defo mum of there group.
suddenly someone leaped pass me.

"TRY and stop me then WORMTAIL" sirius shouted as he head straight for remus bed, only to run straight into the hands of James who held his back.

"Sirius" he spoke calmly as Sirius was wiggling to get lose. " i will let you sleep in there" Sirius eye lit up, " only" he said sternly, "Only if you promise that you two won't go on pretending anymore and Only if you can swear to me,, on the map that you will remember this tomorrow"

"i will James i will, i'm not even that drunk moony had way more that me and and and and" he stuttered trying to think of another point " and i will make him remember if he forgets" he then pointed his head towards James eagerly waiting.

"Fine" James said finally releasing the boy, but just sleep like moony.

"fucking hell, yeah of course james  who do you think i am"  he replied as he tucked in under the covers bringing my sleeping brother into his arms.

James then turned to me, « wanna stay in padfoots
bed, only suggest it because because tomorrow when Remus wakes up this is going to be so funny"

"ummm" i ponded

"go on" said peter who had gotten into his own bed.

"okay sure" i slowly climbing into sirius's bed which was situated next to James. After a while peter had started snoring and i could hear the steady breaths of the others. i just closed my eyes when a whisper crossed over to my bed.
"y/n you awake"
i debated at first not saying anything and pretending to be asleep but that would be stupid so
" yeah"

"okay good" (it was James)
" i umm i wanted say i was sorry y/n"

"huh, sorry about what"

"sorry about the kiss"

"why would you be sorry about the kiss" oh omg did he hear what remus had said wtf is wrong with my idiot brother. " you and lily are perfect for each other, James im glad for you"

"oh" he murmured "oh okay umm thank you" he sounded sad, why tf did he sound sad, "Okay well umm goodnight y/n"

"night" i called.
i waited until i could hear his breath even out and then i sat up, i stayed like this for half the night over thinking wtf just happened. i must have drifted off at some point because when i opened my eyes again it was bright outside and James was getting dressed.

"what time is it" i muttered

"6:30" he relied like it was the most normal fucking time in the world to wake up at.

"uhh" i groaned shoving my head into the pillow

"early, moring practise" he said as with that he was off.
