Chapter 1:
Baz luhrmann was known for making incredibly eye catching, feature films. All of his previous blockbuster movies were hits, and the stars were always revered for their performances. It was essential the perfect man be cast for the role of Elvis Presley. His legacy has lived on for decades and the retelling of his life, had to be epic. So when Austin Butler was chosen for the honor, he knew the commitment, and behind-the-scenes work, was the key to making his impact on Hollywood, and the world. The production of Elvis has been in full swing for a few weeks, but Austin had spent months in preparations to get ready for his performance. Every time he stepped foot in front of the camera, he was required to be someone else entirely.
The shoes he needed to fill were huge! And of course, blue suede. The outfits, the hair, the makeup.. it was all something he wasn't used to before. It was certainly something you weren't used to either. He had to be in hair and makeup by 7 every morning and was gone most days. Whether it was for vocal coaching, impression/acting coaching, or physically filming scenes. There just wasn't a lot of down time. The only upside to the project, was your ability to travel with Austin wherever he went.
You had always been good at side hustling. Whether it was odd jobs, or picking up jobs to do from home. You always made it a priority to be present with him. His main support, and someone who can be there for him to unload all of worries, and frustrations.. he made it as much of a priority to be home every night and have time for you. But sometimes there are obstacles that don't make it easy.
The filming has been focusing on the younger version of Elvis, and Austin has been trying to perfect the southern drawl and deep vibrato Elvis always carried into his music and speech. There was also a certain swagger, and mannerisms that Austin needed to make look natural. It was something he had to practice often, and so this would trickle into his own speech pattern and sometimes he would act Elvis-like even at home. Although... it's not necessarily always a problem.
Your POV:
It was a Friday night, Austin typically had the weekends off, excluding a few rare instances where he was called in. He should be home soon, so you're finishing up dinner and trying to make the house clean and cozy for him to relax when he gets home. You have on biker shorts, and a cropped top and no bra on. You've been home all day, and have no need to dress up. You do have a loose wave in your hair and some mascara on, so you don't look too tired. As you're getting dinner finished you hear the door open from the garage. Perfect timing, he can rinse off and we can eat soon! "Hi baby! How was work today?" You asked from the kitchen.
He slides around the corner and leans against the wall. His hair has been dyed black for the film, and it looks like he kept it styled from whatever scene they had shot that day. He's wearing grey sweatpants and a
T shirt that's tight around his arms. "It was good, filmed the rest of the carnival scenes today. I'm so hungry baby, this looks so good" he says really deep and slow, you can tell he's tired. He walks over to you and behind you as you're finishing up making a dish, and he wraps his arms around your waist. He squeezes you tight and puts his nose along your neck to take in your scent. It drives you wild when he smells you like this. Like he hasn't been near you enough and needs to take it in.
You grab his hands and slide your hand up his arm. You turn your head and look at him. His blue eyes starting at you so intensely. You look down at his beautifully crafted, and perfect plump pink lips. You see his lips part and his tongue caught between his teeth and bottom lip. He's looking back forth from your eyes to your lips. It's so slow, and intense.. you suck in a breath and move the last bit forward. Your teeth and tongues colliding as you turn your back to the counter and are pressed into it by the length of his body. He grabs your hips and brings you as close to him as possible. He brings his lips to your throat, as you turn your head up towards the ceiling to relish in the velvet feeling of his mouth on you.
