quidditch at midnight

As he lay in bed trying to catch some sleep, harry had a most marvelous idea. "I'm sure the others will think it's a great idea aswell, I'll tell them in the morning" he thought to himself. He fell asleep a few moments after. In the morning,
he was telling the whole gryffindor table about it at breakfast. "That's a wonderful idea Harry, but how will you get the other houses in on it? And what if the teachers catch us?" Hermione said, "dont be such a party pooper, 'mione" Fred and George said in unison. Hermione rolled her eyes at the twins. "I fink itwl be fum" Ron said, with his face stuffed with food. "Alright then, I'll try to convince the other houses later" said Harry. After breakfast Harry headed over to find Hannah Abbott. "Hey hannah, can I speak with you for a moment?" He said. "Yeah, sure" Hannah said. They walked over a few feet. "So what did you want to talk about?" "Well, I had an idea last night about playing quidditch-" harry said.
"Ok? What's so great about playing quidditch?" Hannah interrupted "Let me finish, it's at midnight, all of the houses participate. at once." he said. "How is that supposed to work?" Asked Hannah. "Well, there would be two teams, two houses on each team. Like it could be slytherin with ravenclaw, and gryffindor with hufflepuff" said Harry. "Ohhhh that makes sense, want me to tell the other hufflepuffs?" Said Hannah. "Sure, saves me some time, just make sure to tell them it's at 12 am, and to make sure the teachers don't find out, ok?" "Yeah, got it, bye harry!" Said Hannah, as she walked away to tell her friends. "Bye". "What time is it? Whatever, I should probably get to class..." harry thought to himself, but his thoughts were cut off by Hermione and Ron walking up to him. "Hey harry" said Hermione "hello" said Ron
"Hey Ron, hey 'mione" he said "where you off to?" Said Ron "potions" harry replied. Hermione smacked Ron on the back of the head "we're going there to, idiot" "oh, sorry" said Ron, rubbing the back of his head. "Anyway, harry, how'd it go telling the others?" Asked Hermione. "Well I told Hannah Abbott, and she said she'll tell the other hufflepuffs. I didn't tell anyone else yet though" "potter! granger! weasley! Your late. In, now" said professor snape "yes sir" the three of them said as they entered. During class, harry passed Draco a note that said: "meet me in the hall after class", and he hoped Draco would be there so he could talk to him about the midnight quidditch. After class, harry waited for Draco in the hall, he was starting to think he wouldn't show up. but to his surprise, he saw him walking up. "What do you want, pottah?" Said Draco. "I wanted to see if your interested in pla-" "no" said Draco, cutting him off. "Let me finish, malfoy" harry said
"Fine, but you better not be wasting my time, or My FaThEr WiLL hEaR aBoUt tHiS" "Ok so all the houses come together at 12 am and play a secret game of quidditch, the teachers won't know, and we will join houses together in two teams, slytherin with ravenclaw, and gryffindor with hufflepuff." Explained harry "Sound good, malfoy?" "That idea is not to bad, pottah, which houses have agreed?"Said draco. "Gryffindors are in, and I'm waiting to hear back from Hannah about hufflepuff" he said. "Really pottah? You barely have two houses in? Well, I guess I'll try to get the other slytherins to join because of how pitiful your group is, only gryffindor and hufflepuff, the two weakest houses." "Thanks malfoy" "whatever, I'm not doing this because I want to, I'm doing it because your too weak without me" said draco
"Ok, whatever you say" said Harry as he walked away. Next he went to look for Luna Lovegood, the only ravenclaw he knew. He walked all over the school, looking everywhere from
in closets, to behind boxes, then he finally found her. strangely enough she was waiting in front of the gryffindor common room, talking to the Fat Lady. "Uhm, hello luna" he said. She turned around and smiled softly "hello harry, I was just looking for you". "Me? Why?" He said. "Hannah said that there's something you may want to talk to me about" she said
"Oh, yeah actually there is something I would like to tell you about" he said. "Ok" "so my idea is, we all meet up for a quidditch game, but the thing is, it's at midnight" he said. "How will you stop the teachers from finding out?" Asked the Fat Lady. "Well, I was hoping that you and some of the other paintings could help out by telling us if a teacher is coming" said Harry. "I think we could do that, carry on" said the Fat Lady. "that idea sounds interesting" said Luna. "Yeah, and I've got slytherin in on it too, and hufflepuff and gryffindor" said Harry. "Ok I'll let the other ravenclaws know, when should I say it starts?" She said. "How about the night after tomorrow night?" "Yeah, that works. I'll go tell them now, goodbye harry" said Luna, walking away "Bye luna" said Harry, also walking away.
By the time he was done talking to luna, he had to go to charms class before he was late. He arrived just a few minutes before class started. He sat next to Hermione and Ron. "Harry, Glad you finally decided to show up" said Hermione. "Yeah where were you?" Asked Ron. "I was talking to Luna about, you know what" said harry "That's no excuse harry, but what did she say?" Said Hermione "she said she'll tell the other ravenclaws, oh, and by the way I told her to say it starts night after tomorrow night. I hope all the houses agree" said Harry. "I hope so aswell, it'll be lots of fun" said ron. "Ahem, quiet down, class is beginning" said professor flitwick. "We'll talk later" said Hermione. "Today we are learning a simple charm, wingardium leviosa" said professor flitwick. "The motion for your wand is swish and flick, say it with me" "swish and flick" everyone said. "Good, good. Now you all have feathers on your desks, you must try and make those feathers levitate." After charms class Hermione, Ron, and Harry went to talk to the individual houses and told them they were gonna meet up in the room of requirement. The next day after their classes, they headed over to the agreed meeting place and waited for the others to arrive. The first to show up were the slytherin quidditch team. Followed by hufflepuff, then ravenclaw, then the rest of gryffindor. "So, now that everyone is here, there are a few things to discuss." Said hermoine. "Such as the schedule, plans for afterward, and how the teachers won't find out" "Yes, well, the Fat Lady said she could get the other paintings to help us if they see a teacher coming." Said Harry "and I was thinking we could do it every Friday night, how's that sound?". "Wonderful idea Harry" said Hermione. "Yeah, sure pottah" said Draco. "We're in!" Said the other houses. "Then it's settled. We'll do it every Friday" said Hermione. "But wait, what if we're too tired to go back to our dorms after?" Asked Neville. "I thought about that, and if nobody minds, I was thinking we could all stay in one houses common room after each game, like a sleepover" said Harry. "Sounds good" said Cedric, the captain of hufflepuffs quidditch team. The other teams nodded in confirmation. "Alright then, it's all planned out, so I belive this meeting is adjourned, you all can go now" said hermoine. "See you guys Friday night!" Said Harry.
